Man the downfield blocking is great this year. to see WR's make the right block instead just blocking the 1st guy near regardless of if they can make a tackle or not. is a beautiful thing.

The play by the D-lines is really starting to annoy me. On most passing plays half your line gets chopped down at the snap and the other two are locked up or double teamed. Combine this with a very limited move set and it can get very frustrating. Almost all the sacks I get are coverage sacks or when the QB runs right into me.

Meanwhile the CPU is jumping the snap and nailing me before I can move.

use more fake snaps(R1). so the cpu cant time your snap.which leads to less jumps

I agree mixing up your snap counts is key..I've had maybe 2 jump snaps and that's it.

Plenty of things I like about the demo, but I really hope they fixed the onside kicks. Everytime the CPU attempts one, I can return it for a TD.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here

I'm very surprised at the number of people who have said they aren't going to buy this game based off a demo, which stems from an earlier build that, according to those who have played the newer version, has problems that have already been fixed. I personally thought the demo was great, especially for being an earlier build. I personally don't think it's fair to judge a game based on a demo that has known issues, especially since the retail game is still a month off. IMO, this demo should be treated more as a beta, with us as game testers giving feedback on the pros and the cons of the game. This demo cannot be justification on buying or not buying the game, especially with the mostly positive feedback we've heard from the developers and those who've played the newest version. I'd say give the game a chance. At least wait until the game comes out and hear from those who have played the game first hand or rent the game first before completely throwing the game off the radar. That's just my opinion though.
