We could only do so much on the cut scenes. We went with cheerleaders over sideline cut scenes because we felt they contributed to the college feel more than players. We didn't ignore the sidelines... we made sure to improve them a lot including new tech that allows us to populate them more. Maybe the bench doesn't react perfectly, but you cannot say it isn't 10 times better than 08.
This game is a huge jump from 08 to 09. From the moment you start the demo you can tell you guys put a lot of work with it.

Personally I agree, if you guys have to drop certain things like crowds/sidelines to get the game running at a smooth 60 FPS, I'm all for it. 60 FPS in football is like night and date compared to 30 FPS. The action and animations are just so much more fluid and it also gives you way more control.

Also it is nice that you guys just didn't leave it at 60 FPS like last year but adjusted the speed and all that. 60 FPS last year was nice but some of the animations felt forced or rushed last year. This year, you don't see that.

I am really loving this game Adam, thanks for all the hard work. My only real negative is the lack of user pass rush. I just can't seem to get a sack. Will this be addressed in the final build?

I've gotten some pressure, usually about 2-3 sacks per game.

Also I love how you guys continued the game even when the action is over. Like with post game celebrations and how you can run around and choose what to do. Before, after you scored a TD you lose control and it kind of makes you feel left out. Not this year though.

The INT coverage picture is also a nice touch and it kind of makes you look at the defense and all that. It isn't just oh I threw a INT and now back on defense. Good stuff all around.

Now the bad stuff, 3 weeks away or so from retail version.

game felt great, at times it seemed like staying in the pocket was a better choice than scrambling which is new. It'd be nice to recruit some slower QB's with dead on accuracy and not worry about getting so many sacks. Run game was a little harder to get consistent yards but it should be, especially against OSU or LSU defense.
