Getting roster update into existing dynasty

Is there a way to get the latest roster update into an existing offline dynasty? Or , do I have to start a new dynasty to use the latest update?

Gotta start a new one chief...this is something that been lacking from sports games imop...there should be a way to have the option to have live franchise/dynasty updates if you choose to with all the AAA sports games. To have all the current transactions done.

These things sound good in theory, but your dynasty or franchise in other games will never match what's happening in real life in terms of real game results. And updating the rosters would make whatever is happening in your save useless. If in week 2 of your franchise Ashton Jeanty got hurt, but a roster came out by the time you were in Week 3, his in-game injury would not be included in a real-life roster update. How should the game handle that? What about players who are in their third season of a dynasty? How would that work

In real life DeAndre Hopkins just got traded from the Titans to the Chiefs, but what if in my Madden franchise the Titans were undefeated? Why would they trade him?

This is why I wish there was a “start today” option. Plus it would help a lot with the busted stats.

I do wish the new equipment was applied to players in my existing dynasty. It’s not, correct?
