New Head Coaching job but former players wont transfer with you

Does anyone know a way to maker players transfer with you when taking a new Head Coaching job? Currently at Temple, but finally got a blue blood offer from Michigan but I want to take along my starting redshirt freshmen QB

Unless he hits the portal and has an interest in transferring to Michigan, you're SOL. You can't take any players with you to a new job.

Guess I will not get my Lincoln Riley on smh. EA needs to make sure that is in CFB 26 as it's a big part of real college football

I purposely recruited a bunch of recruits with the Coaching Prestige as their dealbreaker since my coach was an A+, when I took a new job, 15 players transferred and I got 8 of them.

Take the job then take control of Temple and you can tell the players to leave that you think would go to the portal.

I tried that, but it didn't work. None of the players wanted to transfer to Michigan. I thought recruits were attached to coaches but I guess not.
