Pretty sure they fixed that with the last patch that came out (not the one today, the one before that).

A friend of mine started a Hawaii dynasty because that glitch was fixed.

Yes, it was fixed in a recent patch.

I was hoping to run my main dynasty with Hawaii, which was my main Retro Bowl team. Instead I took my Retro Bowl coach, put him at UNLV, and when it got fixed I used one of his Retro Bowl quarterbacks to take over Hawaii as a second team in the same save.
