As the question asks, is there any difference in control of the team or anything? I started a dynasty as n OC and didn't notice any difference, I was still able to set up the recruit board. In games I could play offense and defense. I'm the HC of a small 1 star school I've worked up to a 3 1/2 and I keep getting offers from bigger schools as an OC or DC but I figure I want HC?

I don’t think it matters but you can certainly restrict yourself.
