Celebrations

I'm sure I am very much in the minority on this, but I hate the celebrations included in the game. Most of them, in college football, would draw a 15 yard penalty, but not in the game (what happened to "If it's in the game, it's in the game"?).

Is there a way to turn them off?

Re: Celebrations

Well, EA seems like they've dropped that tagline, anyway. The celebrations are in there for the Fortnite/TikTok crowd.

Re: Celebrations

I made sure to try to do specific ones the first week or so. Now I never do them.

I had a BIG tight end take a small pass into the end zone and strike the Heisman pose. lol

Some of them have gotten a bit stale, but man I was pumped when my 98 speed WR did the Griddy after a bomb of a TD catch!

Re: Celebrations

It's ridiculous. Like someone already said, most of them would get you a 15 yard penalty.

I really wish they would have done...you know....ACTUAL College ball celebrations, like several team mates showing up and jumping around (not just two guys)---linemen lumbering in and bumping chests, the mid-air bump, helmet slaps, facemask to facemask shouting/knocking helmets, etc.

I make it a point to never touch anything after scoring.

Re: Celebrations

On the flip side, I think the real life taunting penalty is incredibly stupid.

I don't manually do any of the celebrations after scoring, I just let the game choose.

Re: Celebrations

On that note, are there team-specific turnover celebrations in the game? Like Miami's old Turnover Chain (I don't know if they're still doing that).

Teams with turnover props (most of them anyways) are represented. I've personally seen Colorado's throne, Oregon State's chainsaw, and North Carolina's title belt.
