QB fumbles not called fumbles

Are any of you experiencing plays where the the qb clearly fumbles while getting sacked and the game just stops the play as a sack and doesn’t continue with a fumble on the play?

Yep. Pretty much on every sack.

YES. I don't even know what this is supposed to be, or if it's just a visual glitch. On some plays, I swear they register an incomplete pass on the play, which means no loss of yardage. But there's no passing motion, and if it were a pass, it would clearly be grounding (in the pocket), and that isn't called either. It's a weird one.

Re: QB fumbles not called fumbles

I have this 2-3 times a game. Fowler or Herbstreit will say "incomplete pass, or unable to get the ball down the field". But it´s clearly a fumble during the sack.

But as the team is lining up for next play Fowler and Herbstreit will comment how "the offense was lucky to get the ball back after that fumble".

The call was blown dead long before it should have.

I have unfortunately gotten used to it.

I always found it interesting how I've not seen a single QB fumble that hasnt started scrambling yet. Interesting indeed

I wish the game would do that when my QB fumbles during a sack.

I’ve gotten plenty of strip sacks with the QB still in the pocket before he scrambles.

Re: QB fumbles not called fumbles

This game has an odd quirk(glitch) where players kind of insta-drop the ball when tackled. I’ve seen it with position players, but also quarterbacks. It’s as if the game registers the play over before the animation completes and ejects the ball from the player. I’ve seen this on receiver catches too where I’m unclear
As in real time if they dropped the pass or if it’s just the animation that cause them to inexplicably and prematurely dump the ball to the turf.
