It has hardware RT but they cannot confirm if it is used in gameplay and can confirm in player entrances etc. Very interesting to hear and it is a RT that is derived from EA. Wonder if Madden will have it

In playing madden beta…it’s definitely more advanced graphically than ncaa. Doesn’t take away how great ncaa is in my opinion.

Interesting, replays and cut scenes look absolute stunning but gameplay is not the best but not bad lol.

100%. I had the Madden Beta on PC and the first thing I noticed about CFB on the PS5 was the resolution... but ... meh, not a big deal to me.

It means that CFB is using a lower resolution, 1440p. This is then "upscaled" by the PS5 to 4k.


Digital Foundry said FIFA (FC25) is native 4k, which means it will look better.

My guy from up here confirmed it a couple of weeks ago using the method DF uses. So, he was on point. When I look at the game on my PC through my capture card, it looks really crisp. I stream and record in 1440p 60 fps HDR. I wonder why EA chose to go that route, especially seeing how relatively small the game is compared to others(28gb)?
