I formation, near, far, split? I'm hoping the team builder will be good enough to play some old school games on play now.

Your best bet would be the Flexbone.

From what I’ve been able to see from various gameplay videos, the Maryland I, Wishbone Tight (2 TEs), and the Power T are all in the game. I’m looking forward to checking the formations myself.

Flexbone should be prettily heavily featured as well.

Flexbone - many versions of it
Wing T - I've not seen this but gameplay dev said it was in
Wishbone - I'm not sure how many versions are in
Power T - called something different
Maryland I -
Power I -
Shotgun Full house - newer but 3 HB's in the backfield
