Physical vs Digital Copy

Just curious what version everyone is pre-ordering. I have not made up my mind and hoping to get swayed one way or the other.

I'm getting both. I'm gonna get the MVP Digital bundle so that me and my son can share both Madden and the college game. Then I'm getting a physical copy simply because this is a monumental moment in gaming, and I want to have a physical copy just in case something happens where it goes away again.

Re: Physical vs Digital Copy

Digital. Can't remember the last time I bought the physical version of any game. Probably would have been the first or 2nd MLB The Show to launch on PS4, so it's been close to a decade at this point. With digital, I'll be playing the game the very second it is available. With a physical copy I'd have to wait and I'll have waited enough by release day.

Physical. I bought my first digital game back in March and had a bad experience. Paid 150 dollars for what turned out to be very expensive 3 week rental. So I,m soured on digital ever again.

Digital.. swapping games out of my XSX is something this lazy old man doesn't get joy out of. My kids always leave their games in the console.

This is my main beef with physical. Sometimes I want a quick switch to a different game and it’s so annoying to get up and dig out the other CD.

Re: Physical vs Digital Copy

Digital because my PS5 doesn't have a disc drive. And because I haven't purchased a physical copy of a game since the early PS4 days.

Both! Can’t let physical media die! My hard copy will get framed and put in the man cave
