why does the ps5 versions say 7/14? is that legit? 2 days earlier for ps5?

That's probably just the PlayStation currency (like a gift card for the PS Store) that you'll get on the 14th. The version that doesn't mention PlayStation currency still says the 19th.

My question is does this come with a midnight release?

I am curious about this also especially because it's a digital copy of the game, so I would think we could get that emailed to us at midnight and the physical items mailed. That just wouldn't make sense to wait that long for a digital version but it would be nice to know.

I'm hoping EA Plus will get me through at least the first few days of early release because I pre ordered this version and the Walmart steel book version.

So I paid for the homecoming version and have to wait till the 19th? Why do I get punished for being the purist type that still wants a physical copy? That’s messed up

We really gotta stop using the word "punished" for minor inconveniences. I see it here all the time, saw it on the EA forum last night (apparently someone is being punished because they can't afford a PS5 and the game isn't available on PS4).

I got my Homecoming version yesterday, but it was a digital version. I didn't know it came in physical.
