Random pitcher selection in DD games

Does anyone else find that the random pitcher selection for DD games is a bit off? Jacob deGrom is my best pitcher. I have his 2014 flashback card and he is rated 91. I've had his card since game 1 when I pulled him as part of the 10 pack pre-order bonus. I have played 52 DD games and deGrom has only been selected as my pitcher for 3 games!!!

By comparison other pitchers which I acquired much later in my DD are being selected much more often. Yu Darvish selected 13 times, Michael Wacha 11 times, Jose Quintana 7, and then a bunch of lower rated players that I had when I first started out, or players that I added to the active lineup because Inside Edge gave them a rating boost. Right now only Darvish, Wacha, and Quintana are getting selected every game I play. What is also odd is sometimes I'll have the same pitcher selected 3 or 4 games in a row

Unfair isn't really the right word, but this to just sucks.

I do not like the random selector at all.

I had the exact same problem. Had a Chris Sale card that I sold because after almost 20 games, I got to use him once.

Now I'm faced with that same problem again. Pulled a Jake Arrieta card today. Probably gonna sell him to.

That sucks. I don't mind the random selector so long as it's actually random. 3 out 52 doesn't seem equally random, it feels like your best pitcher's odds are bring weighted against. It really should be 1 in 5 odds, not 3 in 52 odds.

Look at the bright side, you have deGrom. My highest ranked pitcher is an 82.

There needs to be some adjustment to how it works. My pitchers are Darvish, Tanaka, Iwakuma, Buchholz & Kluber. I've played around 30 games & have used Buchholz & Kluber 10 times each.

I swear I was coming in to post the EXACT same issue. There is no question to me the odds are favored against your best pitcher. This needs to be addressed.

I had issues with getting Lester assigned for so many days. Tonight he started 4 in a row for me lol

2 different times I've had bumgarner in my rotation for about 15 - 20 games each time and not once did he get to pitch so I sold him to try and complete collections
