Whats the penalty on playing in secondary/out of position?

Hey does anyone know the % hit to fielding you get playing players out of position. I believe last year it was 20%/40%.

I'm not sure but I can tell you from experience they do everything slower. I just threw a Dodgers lineup together and played a 9 inning game to get my Beltre card and I had a catcher at second and he took a good 2-3 seconds to throw the ball. Cost me 2 sure outs. Lol.

But what I'm confused about is:

Is it a 20% hit to the fielding stat? Or all fielding attributes?

Does this apply for RTTS as well? Coach just moved me from 3B to SS (my secondary). Haven't noticed decreased performance, if anything SS seems easier.

How bad of a hit is it to players in secondary positions ? kinda sucks that I have trout and mcCutchen and one of them has to go to left field. Moving eather should not decress my fielding that's there great fielders and in real life will do find in left field.

Sorry I don't know the answer to this, but this just reminded me. Yesterday in a BR game, I saw someone playing Fred McGriff at 3B. Ridiculous.

The penalty for that should be death.

Secondary positions are a 5% penalty to all fielding ratings this year.

I don't remember the exact percentage for out of position, but you don't want to do it this year because they came up with a new set of extremely negative fielding animations that will trigger for out of position players.
