Who do you hit worse against when you face them? Typically that is how I choose pitchers I use.

If I had a top 5 list of pitchers I never want to see in Diamond Dynasty, Neikro and Neshek are on that list.

I have Neirko as number 3 starter on my squad and he's great. But with pitching even more so than batting for me it's sell about players that work well for me. For instance all my pitchers are 89-96 overall except Verlander.. I replaced jack McDowell with him, he just works for me... been thinking about it a lot cause of the thread above and it's definitely the same way with me and players in other sports games like nba2k etc...

Decided to go with King Felix definitely need to work on my pitching rotation.

I haven't used him in DD, but I struggled to beat my brother-in-law who is an average player with Felix in our online franchise. He wasn't fooled by much I threw at him with Felix. I shut him down better with lowly JA Happ lol. You may have better luck with him and it could just be that my brother matches up well with Felix, but I dunno.
