Wii U Discussion

I have tried searching here, but still cant find anything. We are getting Zelda on the Wii U in addition to having it on the Switch. Our issue is that since about 3 or 4 months ago, every single game that we have tried to play on the Wii U will freeze requiring a hard reset every 35 minutes to an hour of play time. I have searched on the internet about this and have diabled the Mii and the other stuff, but we still have the problem. Wondering if anyone here has experienced this and what you may have done to fix the issue. Thanks

I sold my Wii U to Amazon for $172 and bought an Xbox One S with the money. LOL, of course I didn't have that issue but just a thought. Why not trade in the Wii U and get a Nintendo Switch?

Have 2 kids under 8 and mom is a huge Nintendo fan. We will need 2 Nintendo consoles...they are too young for ps or xb

I still have my wii u and dusted it off for Zelda. Everything still works fine for me.

Is it properly ventilated?

Yes it was properly ventilated. We gave up lol, ended up trading it in to GS for a Switch purchase (they opened it back up and ended up getting 100 towards a new switch). Also ended up getting 250 credit for our wii u games (about 8 of them) with the 50% plus up credit towards switch and games.

So the battery on the WIIU is just about shot. It might last 10 minutes off the charger. Any suggestions on a replacement battery?
