The game was an up and down battle. To start the game off Bethune-Cookman(BC) jumped out to an 21-11 lead. Jay Vargas hit three 3s early on. Then to close out the half, Florida Gulf Coast(FGC), ended on a run to close within 2(27-25). The start of the second half was mellow with almost no scorringg. Then, FGC went on a 10-0 run and took a 51-43 lead. After that, Vargas and Pandov hit back to back threes. pulling within 2. then back to back 2 point buckets got us 53-51. never to look back.
