Is 70-80 too low for one and dones?

I'm wondering because I'm going to use Arkansas and they have two freshman who will likely get drafted in the top 5. They also have a freshman who could go later in the first. I should have 3 one and dones but if Freshman are capped at 80 I don't see how they'll be drafted that high.

Looking at some of these mocks https://www.nbadraft.net/2023-nba-extended-mock-2-0/ it looks like there will be a lot of one and dones so I'm wondering if 20 or so Freshman should get buffed.

There really is no way to create a roster before the season knowing which freshman will be one and done so to answer your question a 70-80 rating is to low for them to leave but jacking them up to the high 90's also isnt realistic either, their isnt a perfect way to rate one and dones in the game. Sure you could just bump them way up if you wanted.

Thanks. I'll probably give the draft targets a bump up. What is the typical draft rating? I don't remember. I haven't played the game in a decade. I do remember the game lacked 1 and dones. I think I had one player leave as a freshman. I'm guessing I can give them awareness and maybe potential (is that a rating?) boost so they will become more draftable without being more productive than they are in real life. Jordan Walsh is a good example. He's mocked in SI & nbadraft.net's first round with a pretty pedestrian stat line.

Does anyone export the draft class and continue playing on NBA 2K8?

I do and have updated (2023) 2K8 rosters. I'm looking to start a thread with others who do the same!
