do you go top 4 in the bcs notre dame, bama, florida, oregon. or a heavy lean to conference champs, notre dame, bama, kansas st, stanford.
what if ohio state was eligible, who's your 4th team and the reasoning behind it? just curious to see what most people would like under both scenarios with or without ohio state.

Notre Dame, Alabama, Oregon and Georgia.

Georgia shouldn't be penalized for beating Florida, winning the East and playing Alabama tougher than anybody not named Texas A&M.

Agree with you about the fact that Georgia shouldn't of been penalized for giving bama a hell of a game, but getting blown out by south Carolina should have eliminated them from the title chase. If Ohio state could of went this year I would put them in instead of Georgia.

Before the bowl season: Alabama, Florida, ND, Oregon

After the bowl season: Alabama, Oregon, A&M, Louisville

Alabama, Kansas State, Stanford, Wisconsin

And people would have bitched about it too.

So you're going strictly for conference winners (via CCGs)? Problem with this is lets say Wisconsin were to win the playoff and win the national championship. You'd have a national champion with 5 losses. that's never happened before and there's a reason why it hasn't happened. by that same logic, last year Alabama would not have made it to a 4 team playoff since they didn't win the SEC.

I think that's fair. Interestingly, you have only 1 winner of a conference (via a CCG) out of those 4.

There's a clear difference in sports ideology between Sportsforever and Perfect Zero. Sportsforever is basically saying it doesn't matter who plays in or who wins the CCGs. Perfect Zero is putting the teams in who win the CCGs in directly. (in the case of KSU, the winner of the BigXII via tiebreaker since they don't have a CCG anymore)

I kind of agree with Sportsforever, but then again why is Florida in ahead of Georgia? Because they played the CCG? the problem is that is that in a 4 team playoff, the SEC championship game would kind of become a play-in game to the playoff. and you'd have a situation where Florida would essentially get a bye into the playoff simply because they didn't win their division in their conference. Why should the team that won their divisions (Bama, Georgia) have to play 1 more game, why should Florida get a bye?

I love this. And I love any scenario that involves Wisconsin winning, and people getting a seriously bad case of UMAD.

I'd say Alabama, ND, FL, Oregon...you cannot say post-bowl game because that is now how it would be done.

And to the one guy saying Wisconsin? What the heck? It is a four team playoff and a 5 loss champ would not get in over an at large team in ND who is undefeated, my God man, ND gets special treatment and will get it in the playoff as well.

Having it all conference champions is stupid...the SEC wil just win every year but it is not fair to not let 2 SEC teams in it every year like it should be. The whiny Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12, ACC fans are pathetic with that argument..
