Sigh. And for the 3rd time UConn left out in the cold. In some ways less disappointing than the previous 2 since basketball is still in the big east instead of the American, but on the other hand the more realignment there is the harder it’s going to get to break into the p5.

Oregon State, Washington State, California, and Stanford.

OSU and WSU are the ones who are affected negatively. There are talks about Stanford possibly going independent because they don't want to go to MWC or Big 12. Cal has been bad in both Football and Basketball for a long time and they are in major debt. Oregon State are a team on the come up to be dropped down to the MWC.

Utah should be able to compete immediately in the Big 12. Utah-BYU rivalry game could be the final game for the regular season.

It would be interesting to see the new look Big 12 in 2024. There's no "top brand" schools, but should be a very competitive conference. I don't think there is any clear cut favorites in that conference, which should make it interesting.

It is funny that USC was hoping they would be able to avoid Oregon and Washington and have a stronghold on recruiting on the west coast, just for them to follow them lol.

I'm kind of hoping the MW takes the remaining Pac schools, but also takes the Pac name to keep it alive. So the MW becomes the Pac-16.
