Re: West Region Discussion

The hardest region to pick IMO. Arizona has been so vulnerable since they lost Ashley but I can't find a team I like to advance out of the West besides them.

I think Arizona is a horrible match up for OK State in the second round should they both advance. SDSU vs Zona would be a nice regional showdown in the Sweet 16.

The bottom half of this bracket is pretty gross. Wisconsin in the Big Dance always makes me nervous. I'm going to roll with Dougie leading the Jays to the Elite 8.

Regional Final: Arizona (1) over Creighton (3)

This region could go a lot of different ways, but I don't see Arizona escaping at all. I think they lose to OK State. I think Wisconsin has the best shot to escape from this region, but I think OK State/Arizona/San Diego State/Wisconsin have the best shots to leave.

I think Creighton loses to Baylor in the 2nd round and I have Oklahoma losing to North Dakota State. I just don't trust Oklahoma.

I keep thinking Arizona will run out of gas without Ashley, and then they win their next game by 25+ points. I don't know how they keep churning with so little depth, and doing it in dominant fashion.

I really like this region for Arizona. I agree with you on the bottom half, it's hard for me to trust Wisconsin and Oregon just seems like the type of team that would give Wisconsin problems. As of now I have a Oregon-Baylor Sweet 16 matchup with Oregon in the Elite 8 . Last year, the West Region was where my bracket went to die and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again. I also have North Dakota State as my cinderella going to the Sweet 16. I like the makeup of their team.

Re: West Region Discussion

This region is going to be the hardest to predict due to the way it's drawn up Arizona kinda worries me due to Ashley being out to me I think they'll run out of gas in the Sweet 16 but Wisconsin doesn't look too promising either due to how the way the Big 10 tourney went for them even if they do get to the regional final they'll have a big challenge to get through to make it to the next round if I had to make a prediction of who'll win this region I'd have to say San Diego State over Creighton that just seems like the most logical pick to me

Re: West Region Discussion

I keep hearing mixed reviews on San Diego State. Could they hang with Zona?

I got a feeling Oregon drops Wisconsin in the second round. They are streaky but I think the hit there stride at the right time. I like Creighton out of this bracket though. People don't give the TEAM enough credit.

Re: West Region Discussion

It's obviously Nebraska's to lose.

Yes, I'm being facetious.

That means I'm kidding.

Although, I would love nothing more than to at least have another shot at Creighton.
