Some games today/tonight.

Syracuse is in some trouble at home right now. Haven't looked good at all.

I love having a game on before 5 o'clock.

And Cashmere Wright takes a bad 3 and then turns it over after Cincy got the offensive board. I see so many bad shots in the final minutes of games.

In listening to the game and from the sound of it, not good. This was the definition of a trap game so I'll give em a pass.

Syracuse looks like they're going to pull this out. Good defense by them down the stretch coupled with Cincy just launching from NBA range for no reason.

That's the insane beauty of the 2-3 zone. The worst thing that can happen to a player playing against the 2-3 zone is hitting a really long shot. They wil take more long shots and their luck almost always runs out.

True, but you hope to get the shots by flashing the guy to the free throw line or working the ball on the reverse. Not just launching from a dribble.

In any case, that was a nice win for 'Cuse coming off the big road win and short turnaround.

Trick is having players that make good decisions. Syracuse also recruits players that are perfect for the zone. Teams that have time to prepare for the 2-3 zone usually gives Syracuse problems.
