How many brackets do you fill out?

Preferably in a competitive league/group or where money for brackets are exchanged.

Myself, i always fill out 2 brackets. One i have Ohio State winning the whole thing no matter what seed they get. The other is a more non homerish bracket.

This year i'll probably have Ohio State and Kansas in both finals. One with Ohio State winning and the other Kansas winning.

Just 1. A couple like you do is fine I think. But unless you are entering a huge money pool, and want multiple shots at it, I never got why people fill out a ton of brackets. And then an upset happens, and someone is like I PICKED THAT IN 2 OF MY BRACKETS!!!! Yea, what about the other 7?

One.

I don't understand why people fill out a million brackets. I want to put down on paper what I actually think will happen, not throw out a bunch of guesses. Plus, it's essentially cheating if you do it in a bracket pool, IMO.

Exactly.

It cheapens it when you do more than one, if you fill out one and suck oh well you tried, if you fill out one and do great you look like a genius, if you fill out 100 and happen to get every game right on at least 1 bracket wheres the fun?

I used to do multiple brackets. I only do one now.

I agree with Jets and SuperJames

One. There's no point in doing more than one. A few years ago I caught myself rooting for teams in one bracket, but getting pissed they lost in another. I filled out like 5-6 different brackets. Since they I do one bracket for all the different pools I'm in.

The purpose of filling out more than one bracket is to try to get the perfect bracket.
Someday, someone will fill out a perfect bracket.

If you watch college basketball a lot and there's only 3-4 first rounds games you're on the fence about, it makes sense to fill out 10-15 brackets on ESPN.com or CBSSportsline to make sure all the possibilities you think could happen are covered.
