Memphis football is an oxymoron. There is no Memphis football. By the third game of the football season (after they've choked and lost 3 games they could have easily won), I'm ready for basketball to start.

I've never been a baseball fan. Summer is a hard time for me, but at least the sunshine and girls make it bearable.

At least MSU is making it close.

So instead of these 2 vs 3 seeded "mismatches", we should get more 1 vs 12 matchups for closer games? That makes a lot of sense.

I'm not saying that, but people were saying that because the top 12 seeds all advanced that it would make for some great games. So far the only ones close have been Pitt/Xavier and Kansas/MSU.

I'm just pointing out that getting all the top seeds to advance does not always equal having great games.

It was just like last season when all 4 1 seeds made the Final 4. The semifinals turned into huge blowouts. The championship game was one of the greatest of all time though, so I won't complain if we get games like that again.

Carolina needs to play some defense before we lose this game

Yeah I agree, and they need to also start hitting more FT's. They have left a lot of points on the board, should have gone up 20+..whenever they miss FT's or go through scoring droughts it usually comes back to bite them. Come on Tarheels.

Okay, Ibok standing there waiting to inbound the ball after the free throw had to be one of the unintentionally funnier things I've ever seen.

Really wish CBS would switch to the MSU/Kansas game. I know I'm in Washington, but I'll take the tie game over the 17 point game
