Re: NBA 2K23 - The Kobe Era Reimagined

This was a close game in the first half but a third quarter where Charlotte hit 5-10 from three and got offensive rebounds on their five misses put the score out of reach. Philly made a fourth quarter run but never truly threatened, falling 105-88. Charlotte was led by Deron Williams (22 points, 7 assists) and Paul Millsap (22 points, 15 rebounds), while Philly got good games from their usual stars in Kevin Martin (20 points) and LaMarcus Aldridge (18 points, 11 rebounds) but not much else.

Every time I see the rosters I get a kick out of them.

How is that the Raptors, not the Magic?

And that is a "bizarro Celtics" roster, to quote Bill Simmons. They keep Joe Johnson, get Derrick Rose, and have 3 solid role players rounding out the starting 5.

Re: NBA 2K23 - The Kobe Era Reimagined

JJ Redick (20 points) kept Toronto in the hunt for 8th while damaging Boston’s slimmer playoff chances with a game-winning three that left just 0.2 on the clock. That Redick three gave his guys a 105-102 win in Boston right after Mike Miller (12 points) scored on a layup to tie it following a steal by Chris Kaman (21 points, 12 rebounds). Derrick Rose (25 points) and Jameer Nelson (21 points) went at it in a game that ended up being decided by three point shooting.
