just lost all my teams save messed up

turned my ps3 on yesterday, started 2k8 and somehow it deleted all of my rosters, which was fine , took care of all my messed up subs etc. but now i've noticed that I can't get certain generic players back on my teams , no matter how many times i try, i just wonder if somehow games played has anything to do with generic players available

I think you just get a random set of generics each time you create or edit a team. So the chances of you getting the same generics as before a pretty slim. I could be wrong though.

Yes, Generics are random except that you will only receive certain players under certain Generic category types. In other words, each "type" of generic (DE: Pass Rush - Balanced - Run Stopper) will only be available if you select his specific type, but even then it's a crapshoot.

if u want to try to find the generics again do this.
go to edit team press start untill your back to the edit team menu. go to teams go to manage team select your team then go to depth chart. check the position you are lookign for the generic at and see if he is there if not repeat the above process.

normally i always try to get certain receivers. redman,forde,james,williams, ect however the players are in different balance or speed depends on who i want.
