Section 2.
- All owners will get 100 million dollars at the beginning of each season to offset any issue with funds.*
Section 3.

Section 5.
- We will play 2 weeks of preseason games.
WEEK 1
- The 1st week will be a 48 hour advance period. Included in these 48 hours will be a 24 hour preseason FA bidding process. NO PLAYERS MAY BE SIGNED DURING PRESEASON UNLESS THEY WERE WON IN A BID OR IF BIDDING HAS ENDED AND A PLAYER WASN’T BID ON.
WEEK 2
- Week 2 of the preseason will be a quick 24 hour advance. This will be the time to make final cuts and also get a little practice with your players before the season officially begins.
Section 6.
- Custom Playbooks will be allowed, however please be sure to add in a variety of plays. Guys who only add in certain play types and only run those in game will not last long in this league. You can also refer to the Gameplay Rules section below for clarification on how you should be mixing up your play calling on both offense and defense.
Section 7.
- There will be no individual team threads, only 1 league media thread. This will reduce clutter and also be a one stop shop for guys looking to read up on the league.
Section 8.
- We will have a participation incentive program that allows users to earn 1 extra In-Season trade the following season by doing either 3 write ups or by posting 6 uploaded game videos in the media thread.
WRITE UPS
- The 3 write ups don't have to be essays, but they have to be more than just a few words.
UPLOADED GAME VIDEOS
- The 6 videos have to be uploaded to either the user's own youtube channel or to the 4th and 1 youtube channel and then posted in the media thread with a small synopsis. This doesn't have to be long and CAN be only a few words.
Section 9.
- Outside of Operation Sports, this league requires the use of Twitch, Daddyleagues, and GroupMe. If you can not get an account to one of these sites, you are not eligible to be in this league.

* - The commissioner and league admins have the ability to give funds to any owner in the league. * - This is to make sure owners have enough funds to build a stadium AND sign/resign his players. * - Confidence reset only affects players with confidence <50.
Article II - Scheduling & Communication
Spoiler
Section 1. Scheduling Rule
- The "24-48-72" Rule: Post your availability within 24 hours, have your game scheduled within 48 hours, have your game played within 72 hours.
Section 2. Scheduling Methods
- Teams are expected to use the Weekly Scheduling Thread in the Operation Sports forums to schedule their games with their opponents. Users can use other means to schedule their games (GroupMe, PM, text, etc) only if both teams are aware. No team should expect their opponent to contact them by any other means but by posting in the Weekly Scheduling Thread on the Operation Sports forums. If your game is scheduled outside of the scheduling thread, one of the coaches is expected to post the scheduled game time in the scheduling thread, that way the admins know that the game is scheduled to be played.
Section 3. Scheduling Window
- A scheduling thread for the next week will be made when there is less than 24 hours before advance. Users may schedule start times for games up until 2 hours before advance. Any games scheduled to start after that need to be approved by the commissioner first or the users run the risk of not being able to finish the game before advance.
Section 4. Reliability
NO SHOWS
- If an owner does not show for a scheduled game time or fails to respond to a scheduling request from his opponent in a timely manner, he will be put on auto pilot so his opponent can play the CPU if needed.* No shows for a scheduled game are disrespectful, and will be subject to a player suspension if no valid reason is given. We all have lives and should respect each others time. No one deserves to be stood up and disrespected. Accidents do happen, but should not happen too often and continuous violations will certainly result in removal from the league.
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS
- If an owner can't make a SCHEDULED time and notifies his opponent with less than an hour to go before game time, his opponent will have the option to play the cpu if he wants to or he can reschedule. He can NOT take a sim win. People make plans and may shift things around in the day to accommodate a scheduled game time. If someone cancels at the last minute, that could mean they did all of that for nothing.
Section 5. Scheduling Conflict
- If two owners can not agree on a time that their game can be played, the game will be simmed unless one owner allows his opponent to play the cpu.*
Section 6. Absent Notice/Vacation
- We understand that we all have lives. Just make sure to let us know in advance so we know what is going on and will reserve your team. Failing to do so may result in removal from the league.
* - Other options the user has are trying to reschedule or taking a sim win.
NOTE 1: Injuries are not turned off for sim wins except in special circumstances.
NOTE 2: Going on auto pilot at the end of a losing season because you’re not going to make the playoffs is not an option. ALL USERS MUST PLAY THE ENTIRE SEASON.
Article III - Gameplay Rules
Spoiler
Section 1. Sim Playing Style
- We most definitely do not allow any exploits of AI and such, and possibly some plays if it is unrealistically effective and there's no reasonable counter for it.
Section 2. No Switch
- 4th and 1 is a sim style no switch league. Players are not allowed to switch players defensively or offensively to user pick/catch on pass plays while the ball is in the air, but are allowed to user pick or make plays with a player they were in control pre-snap. However, you may switch to any defender after the catch is made. It should also be noted that you can switch to a defender to sack the QB. You just can’t switch guys while the ball is in the air.
Section 3. Manual Positioning
- Any NON-BLITZING defenders can be manually re-positioned within realism to help disguise defensive coverage. Of course no creating nanos or exploits.
Section 4. Zig Zag Running/Quick snapping
- No Zig-Zag running to take advantage of A.I's poor pursuit ability. No quick snapping before defense is set as it is too easy for offense to take advantage of this. (See "Additional" section below for more details)
Section 5. Play Calling
- Calling the same exact play from the same exact formation is an exploit. Vary your play calling. Also it is NOT ok to run the same plays out of different formations. I don’t wanna hear a guy saying they ran inside zone all game but out of different formations. That still is a no no. This rule applies to defense also. Please do not run cover 3 all game. Mix it up. The playbook is not limited to 5 plays. Violating this rule could result in player suspensions or removal from the league. (See "Additional" section below for more details)
Section 6. No huddle Offense
- The no huddle offense should only be used during the final two minutes of the 2nd and 4th quarter or if you are down big in the second half. NO HUDDLE IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE FIRST HALF BEFORE THE 2 MIN WARNING.
Section 7. 4th Down Rules
1st-3rd Quarter
- Through 1st - 3rd quarter, you may go for it if you have less than 5yds to go for the first, are down by 3 or more scores(24 pts), AND on or beyond your opponents 45 yd line.
4th Quarter
- In the 4th quarter, you may go for it if you are on or beyond your opponents 45 yd line and are down by two or more scores(16 pts). If it is late in the 4th qtr, both users use their own discretion.
Goal Line
- You may go for it on 4th and goal from 1 yard out or less at anytime unless you are up by 2 scores(16 pts) or more.
User Discretion
- During the game, you may go for it anytime that both teams agree that it's appropriate.
Free 4th Down
- We will grant 1 FREE 4th down play per game. This one free 4th down can come at anytime without limitation by the rules. You must let your opponent know your intent before using this.
Section 8. Fake Fgs/Punts
- Users are allowed to try 2 fake kicks( fg’s/punts) in a season. Special teams are still part of the game. This allows users to take a chance to change momentum. This will count as the free 4th down attempt if it is outside of the area listed by league rules. Of course in this case tho, you do NOT have to tell your opponent beforehand that you’re doing it.
Section 9. Goal Line Formation/Personnel
- Goal line formation or personnel(No WR) may only be used inside the 5yd line. The same goes for goal line defense.
Section 10. Run Commit
- You may only use run commit inside your own 5 and goal(distance) situations or at the very end of the game where your opponent only needs a 1st down to seal the game.
Section 11. HB Carry Limits
- No HB should carry the ball more than 35 times in a game or 450 times in a season. 35 carries in a game is high, but there are some times when you need to grind it out.
Section 12. FB Dive
- FB dive is NOT allowed on any down with 2 yards or less to go.
Section 13. QB Sneak
- QB sneaks from under center will not be allowed. However, designed QB runs from shotgun formations are allowed.
Section 14. QB Scrambling
- QB scrambling on non designed QB run plays immediately, with no intention of going through reads, and when there's no immediate pressure, is not allowed. In otherwards, scrambling should only happen on designed rollout plays, designed QB run plays, and when you are actually under pressure in the pocket.
Section 15. Screen Plays
- On screen plays, the QB must throw to the primary target on the screen play or throw it away. He can not throw it to other players.
Section 16. Playmaker
- Playmaker is not allowed in any form in this league.
Section 17. Hot Routes
- No more than 2 hot routes are permitted when on offense.
Section 18. Defensive Coverage/Rush
- The defense must have at least 3 players rushing the QB at all times. This means no more than 8 players in coverage. The 3 man rush may include players doing QB contain rush, as long as they do not drop into coverage.
Section 19. Switch Hit Stick
- Switching to the nearest defender after completion to abuse hit stick before the receiver has a chance of changing direction and/or make a decision on either to take a hit or just go down is BANNED.
Section 20. Gameplay Complaints
- You should assume your opponent is following the rules above in good faith. If you feel strongly that an opponent is breaking a rule, you can pause the game and send a PSN message to your opponent about it. Example: your opponent is breaking the no-switch rule. You pause the game to remind him of the rule. That said, you should not make a habit of pausing the game, as it disrupts the flow of the game and you can always lodge a complaint after the game is over. For example, you do not need to pause the game to question an opponent's fourth down attempt. If you feel a fourth down attempt is inappropriate, make a note of it and raise the issue after the game. Complaints should be addressed to the commissioner or a league admin. The complaint should NOT be posted about publicly in the forum or on groupme. If the commissioner or league admin feels that a gameplay complaint has raised an issue that should be discussed with the league as a whole, they will proceed accordingly.
RETALIATION
- If you feel your opponent is breaking a rule, you should not retaliate by breaking rules yourself.
WHINING
- Frequent whining about alleged gameplay violations is just as disruptive and unsportsmanlike to a league as violations themselves. Whiners and violators will both be removed from the league if necessary.
Section 21. Blowouts
- During the course of running a league as commissioner I have seen several issues in such games. So I am going to give you an idea of what both teams should do in such situation.
FOR THE WINNING TEAM
- Your main goal is to end the game as quickly as possible and play in a very conservative way to keep the risk of injuries to key starters at minimum. You should pull your key starters except for young players who need playing time. Pause the game and ask the opponent to let you set up the depth chart. You don't necessarily have to run dives every play and drive as you need to get your defense some rest as well. You should still try to convert 3rd downs by ground or air but in extremely conservative ways. There is no need to be aggressive and go for it on 4th downs and such either. You don't have to purposely not score when you have a big play, but you don't need to look to make a big play either. The only situation you may just choose to get the first down is when you want to keep the ball and the clock running towards the very end of the game. Turn chew clock on!
- Ending the game as quickly as possible to avoid injury and, if you can, getting playing time for your young players should be your priority.
FOR THE LOSING TEAM
- If you don't want to give up and keep trying for that one in a million miracle then go for it. Doing that will risk injuries to your starters. You can put in young guys and play it like its a brand new game and evaluate them. If you choose to run blitz because the offense is running on 1st and 2nd down, that is fine. However, if your opponent chooses to throw for a first down against man to man coverage, you are at fault. At that point, throwing a quick pass outside against one on one is safer than running your HB's into many blitzing defenders. The moment you start running no huddle, should be the moment the winning team starts winding the clock down to minimum play clock.
- Your options are, run out the clock, keep playing and hope for a miracle comeback, or sub your young guys in to get playing time and evaluate. You don't have to just end the game fast without anything in return, like not giving your future franchise QB some playing time passing, etc...
FOR BOTH TEAMS
- DO NOT DISRESPECT YOUR OPPONENT. It is expected that you all to know what that means and to have common sense. This is a game that we try to be sim with, but there will always have to be a reasonable median.
Section 22. Super Sim
- Super Sim is not allowed at ANYTIME in this league.
Section 23. Gameplay Streaming
- All HOME TEAMS must STREAM and ARCHIVE their games. If the home team is having technical difficulties attempting to stream and/or it is impacting game quality, either the away team can try to stream or the game can go on without being streamed. This is the only reason the game should not be streamed and archived.
Section 24. CPU Games
All CPU games MUST be streamed and archived via twitch.
All gameplay rules posted above apply to cpu games as well.
Do NOT run up the score or pad stats against the computer.
The user may NOT restart a game against the cpu for any reason, this includes power outages, disconnections from the server, and loss of internet connection. If a user is playing the cpu because his opponent couldn’t make it, he may quit the game and get a sim win, but he can not restart the game and play again. This is not allowed for cpu controlled teams. For those teams, the user has to take the results of the game regardless of the outcome.
Section 25. Forfeit
- 4th and 1 will absolutely not tolerate quitting on an opponent. IF YOU QUIT ON YOUR OPPONENT, YOU QUIT THE 4TH AND 1 LEAGUE.
Additional
Quick snap on offense
- You cannot snap the ball within 3 seconds of being at the line of scrimmage unless the play clock is low. For example, with a 15 second play clock, you are at the line by 11 seconds, so you should not be snapping the ball before the play clock has gotten to at least 8 seconds. This tends to happen when the offense needs to score quickly or get something going. You don't have to wait until the last 3 seconds to snap the ball, but give the defense some time to make adjustments and more time if the offense makes adjustments.
Overuse of designed misdirection runs
- Misdirection runs, such as counters and traps should not be ran more than half of your runs.
Overuse of drags, curls, corners, slants, and inside routes
- While this is not entirely on the offense, they are often ran more than they should be. Both offense and defense need to work on this.
Article IV - Sportsmanship Policy
Spoiler
Section 1. Calling Out Your Opponent
- Calling out somebody publicly will not be tolerated. If you have an issue, let a commissioner know and they will handle things. The phrase “calling out somebody publicly” refers to the public criticism of your opponent’s play calling, play style, decision making, or publicly accusing them of a rules violation. If you have a complaint, contact a commissioner to get things settled.
Section 2. Running Up the Score
- Do not run up the score, period. This is extremely disrespectful. There are no guidelines. Reel it in when you're up big.
If your opponent is still playing 100% to win and you are up big, feel free to move the ball as you want, but continue to run out the clock.
Section 3. GroupMe Chat Etiquette
- If you can't say anything nice in GroupMe chat during games, turn it off or ignore it. Do not create a hostile chat environment by being extremely negative during games.
Article V - Game Disconnects
Spoiler
Section 1. 1st Quarter Disconnects
- The game is to be restarted from the beginning regardless of score.
Section 2. 2nd Quarter and 1st Half of 3rd Quarter Disconnects
- A user with a 3 score (21pts) or more lead may ask to replay it to the score, otherwise the game should be restarted from the beginning.
Section 3. 2nd Half of The 3rd Quarter and The 4th Quarter
- A user with a 2 score (14pts) or more lead may ask to replay it to the score.
Section 4. Other Options
- Other options for users with big leads during the time of disconnect include playing the cpu or getting a sim win.*
Section 5. Excessive Disconnects
- Users that continually get disconnects will be asked to leave the league or go on auto until they can resolve their internet issues.
* - Both users have to agree to either of these choices. These also may be enforced at the commissioner's discretion, particularly in difficult situations that are not covered here.
NOTE 1: These rules are just for cases when no agreement can be met. If both users agree on a way to replay the game or some other option, their choice supersedes these rules.
NOTE 2: When replaying to a score, users should be trying to mimic the first game as close as possible e.g. a team scores 3 rushing td's with the starting HB in the first game, he should score 3 td's with the starting HB in the replay. All stats will not be the same, but the scoring plays can be.
**ROSTER MANAGEMENT**
Article VI - Roster Requirements
Spoiler
Section 1. - Roster requirement
- You will always be required to have a minimum roster of 53 during the season. In addition, your team must carry a minimum of 2 or more players at every position except Kicker, Punter, Fullback, and one of the 5 offensive line positions.
Section 2. Roster Minimums
QB - 3
HB - 3
FB+TE - 4 (You can have either 2 FB + 2 TE or 1 FB + 3 TE)*
WR - 5
OL - 9
DE - 4
DT - 3 (If you run a 3-4 you can have 2)
ROLB - 2
MLB - 2
LOLB - 2
CB - 4
SS - 2
FS - 2
K - 1
P - 1
* - Teams may ask to be exempt from the FB position requirement in the "Position Change Request" thread. If approved, teams will still be required to use a TE or approved HB at the FB position. They will just not be required to carry a FB on their roster.
Section 3. TE3
- You must have a FB or TE at TE3 in the depth chart
Section 4. Depth Chart Expectations
- In addition to the roster requirements and minimums, coaches are expected to have their players in the proper positions on their depth chart(EX: DE’s at DE, WR’s at WR, etc...). Any situational substitutions you want to make should be made in game using the allowed R1 and Right stick(package Subs) options. You should not have any players out of position in your depth chart. This will be a lenient rule during season 1 since we cannot make positions changes until the first off season. However, when season 2 starts, this will be expected to be followed. Any exceptions to this rule must be requested in the Position Change Request thread and approved before they take effect.
Article VII - Positional Rules
Spoiler
Section 1. Depth Chart Position Changes
- All players switching to a new position group need approval first. Users should post position change requests in the Position Change Request thread. These are some positions changes that are allowed but need approval first:
HB (Can switch to WR, FB, or TE)
FB (Can switch to HB or TE)
TE (Can switch to WR or FB)
WR (Can switch to HB or TE)
DT (Can switch to DE)
DE (Can switch to DT or OLB)
OLB (Can switch to DE or SS)
CB (Can switch to FS or SS)
FS (Can switch to CB)
SS (Can switch to CB or OLB)
NOTE: - Position changes within the LB group, between the safeties, or within the offensive line do not need approval from the league prior to the change.
Section 2. In game Substitutions
- These Substitutions can be made using the R1 positional subs:
QB (QB cannot be played by any other position, except in the wildcat formations)
HB (Can be subbed by a HB or FB)
FB (Can be subbed by a FB or TE)
TE (Can be subbed by a TE or FB)
WR (Can be subbed by a WR or TE)
OL (Can be subbed by any Offensive Lineman)
DT (Can be subbed by any DT or DE)
DE (Can be subbed by any DE, DT, or OLB)
MLB (Can be subbed by any MLB or OLB)
OLB (Can be subbed by any LB or DE)
CB (Can be subbed by any CB or Safety)
FS/SS (Can be subbed by any FS or SS)
NOTE: - In addition to these manual R1 substitutions, you may use any substitutions provided by the Right stick(package substitutions) or formation sets. If we find a formation set or package that we feel takes advantage of the game, we will update this rule accordingly.
Article VIII - Waiver Wire (Preseason/ In-Season)
Spoiler
Section 1. Preseason
- There will be a 24 hour waiver wire period during week 1 of each preseason.
- Each team will have 10, 8, or 6 points to use to make “bids” for a player/s e.g. 10 pts for 1 player or 2 pts for 5 players or 1 pt for 10 players, etc. The bottom 4 teams will get 10 pts, most teams will get 8pts, and the top 4 teams (teams that played in the championship game) will get 6pts.
- Once you make a bid, you can not increase or decrease that bid unless you have been outbid by someone else.
- Waiver order is initially determined by draft order (1st pick is 1, 2nd pick is 2, etc) then it will be adjusted as claims are won e.g. Falcons win their bid for a player, they immediately drop to the bottom of the waiver order after winning that bid. Because of this, you should list players in order of importance to better ensure you get your most wanted player before dropping to the bottom of the waiver order. The waiver order will reset at the beginning of each preseason(based on the previous seasons draft order) and apply for waiver wire bids for the rest of the season.
- The 24 hour bidding window will be extended for any late bids to prevent sniping.
Section 2. In-Season
- When a player is released, the team that released him MUST post it in the waiver wire thread.
- That player will be on waivers for the rest of that week as well as the entire next week. During this time, teams may put in a claim for that player.
- Waiver claims MUST be posted in the waiver wire thread.
- At the end of the waiver period, the player will be award to the team highest on the waiver order that put in a claim. That team will then fall to the bottom of the waiver order just like the preseason waiver wire.
- The final preseason waiver order will carry over and begin the initial waiver order of the in-season waiver wire.
Article IX - Contracts/Signing
Spoiler
Section 1. Contracts
BONUS
- A 1 year contract does not require a bonus.
- A 2 year contract requires a bonus, but there is no minimum % required for the bonus.
- A 3 year contract requires a MINIMUM bonus of at least 30% of the total contract.
- A 4 year or more contract requires a MINIMUM bonus of at least 40% of the total contract.
RESTRICTIONS
- A player can not receive a contract offer for MORE than 4 years, unless he requests a deal for longer than that. The admins should be made aware that the player wants a deal for longer than 4 years by either archiving the signing on twitch so how many years he's asking for can be seen or by posting a screenshot of how many years he's asking for.*
- The MAXIMUM bonus that can be given at any time is 65% of the total contract.
Section 2. Signing/Resigning
- Teams are not allowed to release players in-season and sign them back at a bargain price within the same season. You CAN release guys in the off-season and attempt to resign them during free agency though.
Section 3. 3+1 Rule
- Each season(in-season + off-season), user teams are only permitted to resign 3 players. They are also allowed to place the franchise tag on 1 additional player. Basically, if you have 10 players that need to be resigned, you must pick 4 that you want to keep. Resign 3 of them and place the franchise tag on the 4th player. The rest of those players MUST be allowed to go to free agency. You can then bid on them in the open market if you wish to bring them back.
* - IT IS THE USER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK HIS PLAYERS' RATINGS ON DADDYLEAGUES BEFORE OFFERING A CONTRACT.
Article X - Trades
Spoiler
Section 1. CPU Trades
- No member is permitted to trade with the CPU.
Section 2. Trade Limit
- Each member is allotted ONE trade in-season and TWO trades in the off-season. (We will allow an additional trade for the 1st season, so 2 in-season for year 1.)*
Section 3. Trade Committee
- All trades must be APPROVED by the trade committee before they can be executed in game.
Section 4. Trade Request Process
- Members submit their trades to the trade committee by posting in the “Trade Request Thread” on OS(Operation Sports) with all the pertinent information(players/draft picks/teams involved in the trade), reasoning for the trade, and with a link/s to the player/s attributes on Daddyleague. Once a trade is posted, it can be edited and resubmitted if both parties agree, but it can NOT be withdrawn.
Section 5. Player Restrictions
PLAYERS THAT CAN'T BE TRADED
- Rookies
- Players that are in the 1st year of their contract. (This eliminates sign & trade situations)*
Section 6. Franchise Players
- Very high rated players (95+ OVR on Daddyleague) will be listed as "Franchise Players" and will be extremely hard to trade.*
- The Franchise Players list will be updated every season.
- New league members will not be able to trade Franchise Players until they have been in the league for a minimum of 2 seasons.
Section 7. Draft Picks
- Trading of strictly draft picks will NOT count towards the trade limit.
Section 8. Special Cases
- If you are not able to make the draft, please let a commissioner know. You will be able to trade your draft picks for players (if you haven’t reached the trade limit) or future picks. This is to avoid the CPU possibly wasting the value of your draft picks.
Section 9. Draft Trades - Strictly draft pick trades that occur during the draft do NOT have to get approval from the trade committee. Draft trades that involve a player still need approval though.
* - A user may get an extra in-season trade if he has met all the requirements of the participation incentive program.
* - This rule does not apply for players already on the team's roster during the first season. This is only for players the USER has signed.
* - Player age will also be a factor in determining if a player is a Franchise Player.
Article XI - The Draft
Spoiler
Section 1. Draft Pick Limit (1st 2 Rounds)
- User teams are not allowed more than 2 1st round picks and 2 2nd round picks at any time during the draft. *
Section 2. Draft Pick Limit (Entire Draft)
- User teams are not allowed more than 10 total picks coming into the draft. They are still allowed to trade during the draft. They are just not allowed more than 10 going into the draft.
* - Any player that is drafted outside of these limits will have to be released. He will then be bidded on during preseason bidding of the next season.
**PENALTIES**
Article XII - Stat Based Infractions
Spoiler
Section 1. Infraction
- These are stat based infractions such as stat padding, breaking the HB carry rule, etc.
Section 2. Penalty
1st offense - Player is suspended 4 games.*
2nd offense - Player is suspended 16 games.*
3rd offense* - User is removed from the league
* - Includes the playoffs and carries over to the next season if not completed in one season. * - "Offense" is referring to the user's offense not the player's offense in the game.
NOTE: These are just basic penalties for basic infractions. In the case of more complicated infractions, the commissioner will present the league with suggested penalties and let the league decide on the users punishment.
Article XIII - Gameplay Infractions
Spoiler
Section 1. Infraction
- These are gameplay infractions such as illegal 4th down attempts, not mixing up playcalls, etc.
Section 2. Penalty
1st offense - Warning/(for egregious first offenses)Best offensive/defensive player suspended 1 game*
2nd offense - Best offensive/defensive player suspended 4 games*
3rd offense - User is removed from the league
* - The suspended player will come from either the offensive or defensive side of the ball based on what personnel was on the field at the time of the infraction.
NOTE 1: The other 3 users in the division may be consulted to determine who should be the best player suspended for these penalties.
NOTE 2: These are just basic penalties for basic infractions. In the case of more complicated infractions, the commissioner will present the league with suggested penalties and let the league decide on the users punishment.
Article XIV - Contract Based Infractions
Spoiler
Section 1. Infraction
- These are contract based infractions such as player bonus is too low, player signed to too many years, etc.
Section 2. Penalty
1st offense - Player will have to be cut immediately with user taking the cap penalty. User is allowed to resign the player from FA and try to resign him to a correct contract at the end of the season.*
2nd offense - Player has to be cut immediately like above, but player will not be allowed to be resigned from FA.
3rd offense - User is removed from the league.
* The 3+1 resign rule applies to these players as well. They are not exempt.
NOTE 1:In the case of 3+1 violations, you will NOT get to choose who has to be cut immediately. Most likely, it will be the last player that was resigned since that resigning is what broke the rule.
NOTE 2: The Commissioner may decide to take away one of the players that may be resigned as well, especially in cases of violations of the 3+1 resign rule. This would, in effect, mean that the user could only resign 2+1 players instead of the usual 3+1.
NOTE 3: These are just basic penalties for basic infractions. In the case of more complicated infractions, the commissioner will present the league with suggested penalties and let the league decide on the users punishment.
