I cannot recall how Gameplay sent my CD last time. I sent them an e-mail to ask the very same question (whether I could supply an alternate address or request USPS).

I'll let you know when/if I hear back.

Easy,

I'm 99.9 percent positive it was sent through the USPS, originating from the Royal Mail in England. I don't think it went through a secondary carrier so you should be ok.

Easy

Gameplay sent me an e-mail confirming that they ship via Royal Mail internationally (so it should arrive via USPS).

Also, they said if you sent them an e-mail they could establish an alternate address for your account which you can ship to.

Cool, does anyone know how much you're spending in American $$$, my bdays coming up, so I need to make sure I end up w/ enough $$$ to buy books next term, its not looking good.

I think it was around $60 in the currency convertor, but I don't remember.

Well the price at gameplay is $29.99 + $8 more for shipping (this is in pounds).

At the current exchange rate of ~1.62 (your credit card company may calculate this differently) it comes out to a whopping $61.54 USD.

Still worth it IMO, but it ain't exactly cheap.

Wow. That is much more than the other games. Not that I wouldn't pay twice that. Shoot, I'd pay three times that for a football game as deep.

Yeah, that's the problem with a lack of distribution in the US ... we get stuck paying the overseas freight.

Without the extra 8 $lbs of shipping, it would be about $49 (which is more in line w/ most top new titles at EB).
