I'm hoping they follow the MLB and NBA's lead and put "Los" before the nicknames. Los Wild vs. Los Jackets Azules? YES!!!!!!!

Meh, it was basically a technicality. Essentially, they had wording that specifically identified the no-trade clause as kicking in on a specific date, but there wasn't a guarantee that he would legally be eligible for unrestricted free agency on that date (though I assume that's by "years of service" even though he'd still be under contract then). Shouldn't pose a problem as they'll drop the specific date and just tie it to his free agency status.
