And my movement from the bullpen into the starting rotation happened because an OF got hurt. I wonder if we're on to something here. |

Just fired it up for a quick game and notice there is a patch out.
No idea what's addressed in it, but curious to see. |

The Show 08 on the slim psp might be one of the best baseball games I've ever played.
Playing on default AS, latest rosters and 7 games into my young season with the Cardinals and I'm loving it! |

I haven't busted out MLB in a few weeks, but that roster set with all major and minor leaguers makes me very tempted to fire off a new career. |

Yeah, I went there. That's why I asked.
1. Put your thumb drive (I have a CRUZER MINI) in a USB port of your PC. I don't have a damn thumb drive (what is that???) |

USB Drive. http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=family That's about all you should need for this. You could probably even get something smaller, or maybe a different brand cheaper, but thats the general idea.

I'm 47 games into my Cubs season on the ps3 and having a blast. Also on AS default with the exception of pitch count at +8 (zero being the center of the slider). I get more realistic pitch counts with this setting along with foul balls. It also helps with walks and would be better except for my lack of patience. The stats are as good as any video baseball game I have ever played. At current pace I'll hit around 220 home runs. Doubles are a still a little light but I should end up in the upper 200's and at current pace closer to 300 than 250. Not the approx 2 per game I'd like to average but the game does give random results so who knows I could be on the short end with only 47 games played. After the first 15-20 games of the season I thought I'd only hit about a 160 doubles while the pace I've set over the last 25-30 games would have me topping the 300 mark. I still draw way to few walks but then, as I already said, that is mostly my fault due to lack of patience. And I don't allow enough walks but unlike previous games I do walk some. From memory I believe Dempster has 17 bb in 52 or so innings for me. IRL he has 24 in 57, not bad I'm in first place with the Cubs at 29-18 with a one game lead over the Brewers. |

Heh, USB drives can be a bit confusing. They've gone through stages of being USB Drives, Memory sticks, flash drives, jump drives, thumb drives, and I'm sure I am missing some.
Those rosters intrigue me. I'm about 40 games into my Royals franchise though and I don't think I could restart. It's tempting though. |

Finally got a PS3 and The Show for my birthday, only had time to play 3 innings last night. Very cool, wish I had more time to play right now!
One thing I noticed, is when the players threw the ball in the field there seemed to be a blur behind the ball or something. I bought the Psyclone HDMI cord and was running at 720p, but I didn't notice anything like that when I was playing Hot Shots Golf. Anyone else ever have this problem? |

No blur here. That sounds like a TV thing. I'm guessing you have a LCD screen? |

My three year old son liked watching me play this at Walmart, so I picked up last year's version used. It's definitely more fun than watching real baseball. I like that I can play as the Rochester Red Wings.
