I am a big fan of Mississippi, not that anybody cares. I would rather live there than anywhere in the Pacific Time Zone, for example.

Although a New Yawker by birth, I spent a few years living in Tuscaloosa, AL, not too far from the Mississippi border. I liked it, too. The people were nice, the cost of living was reasonable, and the place had a very distinctive feel. The tornadoes were nasty, but all in all, it was good. I could've lived there happily forever after, but work took me elsewhere.
