What did D'Angelo do to deserve an increase?

I don't get what 2k's reluctance is in raising kawhi's ball handling. There are NUMEROUS bigs in the game that are rated higher and this is supposed to be perceived as accurate? There is nothing on this earth that warrants Julius Randle, Diaw, Gallinari, MKG, Parsons, draymond & Blake Griffin all being rated higher than kawhi. Here is some irrefutable evidence to substantiate my claims.

And how does a reigning two time dpoy not have at least a 99 on ball rating when he clearly is regarded as the best position defender in the league, or at least a HOF defensive badge? And to boot klay thompson retains a 90+ 3pt rtg when he's shooting 37% yet kawhi got dropped from a 91 to 83 despite shooting 40%? 2k is beginning to look more and more like fan boys every year. If you cannot be objective in all your ratings maybe you shouldn't have "live updates" all together. Personally I cannot wait for live to come out, not to jump ships, but I feel it as a necessity to keep 2k from being so lackadaisical in all there updates....and I won't even get into the park/ pro-am issues

What did Kemba Walker do to deserve a decrease when he's likely going to make his first All-Star game this year?

Not sure why Dangelo did anything for an increase
not sure how melo played any different than he ever did to deserve a decrease
not sure why gobert is a 84

Gobert is an 84 because he's Top 3 in Offensive AND Defensive Rating this season. That and he's averaging something like 18 and 12 the past week or 2. He's playing like a monster.

Hopefully, Mike Muscala and Dennis Schroeder get a boost in their 3 point shooting.

Kyrie & Love still being disrespected...

# 10 Queannn @ 12/14/16 03:56 PM
Love is averaging like 24 & 12 but he has nearly the same rating as Gobert, I don't get that.

Lol Noah is gunna be the 4th best C on the team by the end of the year and he's here for 3 more years 😢😢

Kind of off topic but what exactly would T.Ross be the GOAT of? I feel like this term is used so loosely these days

My guess is that they have strengths in different areas. Gobert is much more of a force on the defensive end than Love. You gotta look at more than just the overall number.

Looking more into the actual attributes rather than overalls, I've been noticing some weird ratings for certain players. The Pistons stood out the most to me:

Andre Drummond's free throw rose from a 36 to a 63 despite only shooting ~46% thus far. Teammate Tobias Harris free throw dropped from an 83 to a 46, despite shooting ~90%. However, Marcus Morris's free throw went from a 78 to a 90, shooting ~82%.

I'm sure there are more inconsistencies throughout the roster, but the free throw ratings stuck out to me which is why I brought this up. I find this very strange.

With incredible efficiency, too.

Far and away the worst contract in the NBA right now. Noah has been a worthless corpse for a few years now. And then the Knicks went and did that.

I'm convinced Phil is trying to sabotage his way out of NY.

Sarcasm.

But...I'll give him some respect, Ross has been balling lately, he's shooting 50/46/88 right now. His inconsistency in the past has had people wanting him traded.

1. They play two different positions and roles.

2. What Gobert lacks on the offensive end (which he has considerably improved as of late, he's Top 3 in Offensive Rating), he makes up for on the defensive end. He's in the conversation with Draymond and Kawhi as the best defender in the league.

3. What Love lacks on the defensive end (which he has also improved on, IMO), he makes up for on offense. On the glass, it's a wash between the two, but Love is the superior offensive talent (in terms of scoring - Gobert is the best screener and roller in the league right now), Gobert is the superior defensive talent.

Yeah he's always been a player with a ton of talent and potential that struggled to showcase his skills consistently. I could see him becoming a sixth man of the type player similar to a Jr smith or Jamaal crawford
