3. What Love lacks on the defensive end (which he has also improved on, IMO), he makes up for on offense. On the glass, it's a wash between the two, but Love is the superior offensive talent (in terms of scoring - Gobert is the best screener and roller in the league right now), Gobert is the superior defensive talent.

Well said. I feel like in these types of comparisons people either strictly look at stats or focus more on the offense side of the ball to say that "player A is better than player B." There is more to an overall rating than offensive talent and per game averages.

I always think about a player like Ben Wallace. He was average at best on offense. Teams never had to worry about him as an offensive threat but he could change games with his defense, rebounding, and energy level. Strictly looking at his stats or offensive talent wouldn't give you an accurate representation of what his overall grade would be.

For the Knicks, Mindaugas Kuzminskas is still not listed as a rookie, and in play now and NBA today the Knicks assistant coach is the my career coach.

Kuzminskas is playing his first year in the NBA but he is not listed as a rookie because 2k counted his European career when counting how long hes played

I swear it feels like something should have been done with Paul George by now.

Does anyone know if Stauffer touches tendencies, badges etc with these roster updates?

Then why is Dario Saric a rookie?

Yes he has been changing them throughout the year.

Lou Williams went from 60 touches to 91
Harden and Westbrook touches increased to 100

Thanks Yuss. Nice to know tendencies have been improved as this can improve gameplay slightly without the need of an urgent patch. Cheers

I don't need the stats to see that Kevin Love is a much better player than Gobert. I'm not even big on Love but he's on a different tier than Rudy is.

Here is some irrefutable evidence to substantiate my claims.

And how does a reigning two time dpoy not have at least a 99 on ball rating when he clearly is regarded as the best position defender in the league, or at least a HOF defensive badge? And to boot klay thompson retains a 90+ 3pt rtg when he's shooting 37% yet kawhi got dropped from a 91 to 83 despite shooting 40%? 2k is beginning to look more and more like fan boys every year. If you cannot be objective in all your ratings maybe you shouldn't have "live updates" all together. Personally I cannot wait for live to come out, not to jump ships, but I feel it as a necessity to keep 2k from being so lackadaisical in all there updates....and I won't even get into the park/ pro-am issues
Kawhi's ball handling is where it should be. Those moves you posted are high school level, two right-to-left/left-right crossovers and a double cross, moves that every top 1000 point guard does multiple times again. I can promise you I did those moves 150 times each in my 4 years of high school. The main criticism of Kawhi offensively is his ball handling, he doesn't really breakdown his defender, he tries to straight line drive past them most of the time, or shoot over them.

Klay Thompson is shooting 37% through 26 games, bringing his career percentage down to 41.6%, a number through 400 games. And you have to take into account his 37% this season is after his terrible start. Anyone can understand why that isn't changing.

They are 2 entirely different players, but Gobert has guys scared to go into the paint. I saw Westbrook a little bit shook in tonights game against the Jazz.

yall will never understand ratings and how each position and player type is rated accordingly...

or how certain badges make up for rating discrepencies.

Gobert can be a 90 and still wont be as dominant as a 85 ovr rated Kevin Love.

He was drafted in 2011, didn't sign his rookie contract. Draft rights to him were lost, thus making him a free agent.

This is correct, sorry meant to include that in the notes. Will continue to be adjusting in the future

This bug should now be fixed! Appreciate the heads up!

This question has been asked about 100 times. I've twitted it at Beds. And he hasn't answered. So I'm going with the company line on this one. "As of right now the feature has been removed from http://2kmtcentral.com/. Hopefully it will come back in the future."

Sorry man it sucks. The next best please to look is http://thereal2kinsider.blogspot.com/ but he hasn't posted anything on this update yet. Besides that I don't know of any other sites or people who do.

But I love what I'm seeing in this update. Beds has been doing a really good job of balancing the rosters. I know some don't really understand.

I really don't like the argument of K-Why dribbling being high school moves. That's not the point here lol. The point is that he is dribbling for some of his scoring chance this year. And I don't think it's asking too much. Maybe a 75.
