Ratings Boost Probability: High
-Zack Greinke - A lot of folks have been bugging me about adding Greinke for a couple weeks now, but I had held off as I thought there were some better elite pitchers this season. I had been pushing for a Chris Sale upgrade over Greinke, but Sale still has not gotten his boost. Regardless, Greinke now joins him as somebody who I think just clearly is pitching like one of the best pitchers in the majors.
-Taijuan Walker - It's really been a crazy turnaround for Walker after his dreadful start. He's got five wins in the last month to go with over a strikeout per inning and a WHIP under one.
-Mike Montgomery - Walkers' teammate has also been a really great story, and I think it's fair to say Mike Montgomery also deserves a lot of praise at this point.
-Carlos Correa - He's amazing. I don't need to put stats here, Carlos Correa is just amazing and needs to be at least a Silver.
-Buster Posey - On some level, I really doubt Posey gets a boost this week, but to me he's been the best hitter over the last month and so I have to put him here.
Ratings Boost Probability: Moderate
-Scott Kazmir - Kazmir is on the verge of being a Gold, and I think it would be understandable if it happened this week. He's hovering at about a strikeout per inning, and he's got an ERA around 2.00 to go with a WHIP under one in the last month.
-Kendall Graveman - Sticking with a teammate theme here this week, Graveman has been awesome since being recalled from the minors. Perhaps he made some needed adjustments -- he had begun the year in the rotation -- because he's pitching so much better as of late.
-Kenley Jansen - Jansen finally walked a batter and has looked a bit human as of late, but he's still unreal.
-Cody Allen - Allen has been even more unreal, and I don't remember the last time he gave up an earned run.
Ratings Boost Probability: Low
-Ryan Braun - The power numbers have dipped a bit again as of late, but he's still hitting for average to go with stolen bases. He's put together a nice season.
-Adam Lind - Lind has continued his solid campaign, and he checks all the boxes in terms of power, production and average.
-Gerardo Parra - I'm sticking with a Brewers theme here as Parra is hitting everything hard right now to go with good defense.
-Chris Sale - I can't take him off my list entirely, but I just don't know anymore when Sale might get an upgrade. His stats are still awesome over the last month, but they're no longer as insane as they had been the last couple weeks.
