Marc Bulger was just released by the ST.Louis Rams, supposedly clearing up space for rookie Sam Bradford, bad move if you ask me. At the very least, you keep him around and let him mentor Bradford, not to mention he had just signed a 6 year deal in 2006, so he's not walking away empty handed. This is a big mistake being that they have needs a other positions with players that could of been on the team for a long time like a DT or a OL, if Bradford gets hurt or doesn't play up to the level that people ... The NFL Draft is creeping up and there are more than enough NFL analyst with mock draft to get a good sense of what players will be drafted in the first round and by whom, question is, who do we want, or who do we think would help us.

My rules: Clearly I am not in a position that allows me to select who my team draft, but if I was I would use the following rules:
1. Never draft a RB, WR, FB, or TE in the 1st round...the bad strongly outweighs the good and and these position are ... Read More

Free Agency, which was deemed to be the most boring year in recent years, because of the uncapped year, teams would spend more to keep their players, but as of lately, guys have been getting cut left and right, veteran guys, who can still play. Cardinals' Dansby is about to be a free agent, I'm not sure what's going on with Joey Porter, but it seems he is a free agent, or headed that way. This week alone, we saw to all-pro RBs released to free agency, Julius Peppers is headed that way as well, and ... Read More

The Oakland Raiders just gave Kicker Sebastian Janikowski the biggest contract for a NFL Kicker, but does this come as a surprise from Al Davis. The question is whether or not this strikes a trend for more teams?
NFL teams rely on Kickers and Punters to go out and do their job, yet they don't get too much respect in the locker room or from anyone really. They are constantly heckled by their supposed to be teammates, but the truth is that their probably more valuable than those laughing. ... Read More

Year after year we see NFL teams draft players who they believe will change their franchise's fortune and fill seats. Taking a look at temas and their 1st round picks, I don't know who's to blame for teams that just don't strike gold, not even bronze, they get rubble in return, and a nice 1-2 year setback. I look at the Broncos, my team and their fortunes. Last year we had two 1st rounders, two chances to really improve our team, I was hoping for two defense players to really get the D up to speed ... Wide Receiver Donte' Stallworth has been given another chance by the Ravens. I think its a good move because Baltimore needs help at that position and its an upgrade to a not so stellar group, this may also be where the team target in the draft as well, Gilyard out of Cincinnati would be good for them, Dez Brant probably will be drafted before they get the chance, unless they trade up to get him, but that seems unlikely when it comes to getting a WR, and they would probably be giving up Troy Smith ... It is now official that LB Joey Porter is now a free agent, my question is would he fit in Denver? I think he still has something left in him, defensive players usually last longer in the NFL, so he's age doesn't really bother me, its his skills and whether or not he can still make an impact on games, I believe he can, but we seem to have LBs already in place, solid players, I just see a player who can provide more of a spark to the defense and get them too play more aggressive, but him and Marshall ... Jaguars just released 3 time pro bowler Tra Thomas, Torry Holt and Rob Meier. Tra Thomas would be a good sign for, we could move him over to guard if Ben Hamilton decides to retire, I believe he would be a upgrade over Hochstein. Antonio Pierce was released by the Giants this week, he's not too fast anymore but, he is a smart player and leader much like a Ray Lewis type that has has good instincts. I know were trying to rebuild and adding another 30+ player to the defense doesn't help, but he can ... Read More
