Riding off of my idea of Situational Awareness, Madden should incorporate animations with the given situation, and also use a bit of logic and realism. Every tackle should be able to be assisted, or the defenders should at least make a consist effort stop the ball carrier, WR fades in the endzone usually are jump balls in the back of the endzone, and depending on the the WR's height and hands, and the QB's Accuracy and ball placement, the pass could be completed, and the defender tries to knock ... Wide Receiver Donte' Stallworth has been given another chance by the Ravens. I think its a good move because Baltimore needs help at that position and its an upgrade to a not so stellar group, this may also be where the team target in the draft as well, Gilyard out of Cincinnati would be good for them, Dez Brant probably will be drafted before they get the chance, unless they trade up to get him, but that seems unlikely when it comes to getting a WR, and they would probably be giving up Troy Smith ... It is now official that LB Joey Porter is now a free agent, my question is would he fit in Denver? I think he still has something left in him, defensive players usually last longer in the NFL, so he's age doesn't really bother me, its his skills and whether or not he can still make an impact on games, I believe he can, but we seem to have LBs already in place, solid players, I just see a player who can provide more of a spark to the defense and get them too play more aggressive, but him and Marshall ... Last year, I guess we saw Procedural Awareness where in order to make a play on the ball the defender or receiver had to be able to see the ball, but we all know this only happened some of the time and guys still are able to deflect passes with out even seeing the ball. It worked pretty good showing player expressions and players did track the ball most of the time, so no foul there. Jaguars just released 3 time pro bowler Tra Thomas, Torry Holt and Rob Meier. Tra Thomas would be a good sign for, we could move him over to guard if Ben Hamilton decides to retire, I believe he would be a upgrade over Hochstein. Antonio Pierce was released by the Giants this week, he's not too fast anymore but, he is a smart player and leader much like a Ray Lewis type that has has good instincts. Every since Madden transitioned over to the Current Gen consoles, Madden has become more and more geared to online play, somewhat leaving offline players in the dust. But this isn't a Madden exclusive problem, all of gaming Is doing this now so no big surprise there, but the thing that kills me is how much the online play importance outweighs playing Madden offline by yourself, you see it in the title updates where they were all geared towards online play and fixing online issues, never really addressing ... I truly believe Madden 10 was a good solid game that I still play to this day, but Madden is also a bad game in areas as well. We all know how bad the blocking system is in Madden 10, its atrocious if you don't put your player skill run blocking up to at least 60, pass blocking is so so, sometimes the lineman may miss a block here or there, this happens in football, but it looks better in real life than in Madden where the blocker will often do 360 degree turns and then try to recover. The past two weeks I've been playing Madden Ive started to tweak the game settings. I would go to practice and just run pays for a good half an hour, then see why the things happen in Madden that happen. I started at normal speed, the speed threshold at 0 and tuned the player and CPU sliders. The game showed a lot of problems that we all know and hate, so no need to go in depth.
