"We did it!!!!" Anderson shouted over the radio to the team and crew just after a dominating win at Bristol this past weekend in the Spring 250 Mile Race in Thunder Valley! "We had a good car all weekend and from the drop of the green flag I knew it could be a special day if we could just avoid trouble."

The team gave Anderson a phenomenal car and they drove to their first season and career win in the NASCAR Cup series in 2020! Locking into the playoffs with a win is sweet! So much pressure relieved and the team can look to string together more great finishes starting with Richmond next week.

Another important accomplishment this week is the team gets the early season monkey off the back after a really tough outing at Phoenix a few weeks back, showing that the short track program was not in as much disarray as originally thought.

We go to Texas Motor Speedway for a longer 250 mile event at our home track looking to have another solid 1.5 mile race. All of the races we are simulating are at 50% distance of the real life event in NASCAR so this is as long of a race as we will see in the season at 250 miles. Things work out well for us on pit strategy at our home track and timings of the cautions of which there were many. We bring home a 10th place finish. Some good racing with Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott and others along the way. Moving to 13th in points after this event, and a string now of 3 consecutive top 10 finishes. This is a solid recovery after Phoenix where we felt low a few races into the season.

However, no time to get comfortable as we have to go to the Concrete Jungle in Thunder Valley next week at Bristol and get the monkey off our back early on in the season at the short tracks.

Here is the replay from Texas 250 miler

Oh So very very close, but yet so far away. The team came into Homestead Miami off a solid top 10 finish at Atlanta the week before as we are in race 2 of a three race sequence on mile and a half tracks, with Atlanta followed by Homestead then our home track in Texas.

This week we had the race covered off heading to a comfortable victory, yes a victory in the race as we had a great long run car and a solid lead with just a few laps remaining. Unfortunately (for us) a caution came out to setup a Green/White/Checker finish and we just couldn't hold on to the victory as we over drove in and couldn't hold off the hard chargers.

However, still a solid run another top 5 finish (2nd of the early season) and we move up to 18th in points. The team now knows that perhaps ambitiously we can win a race this season to get into the playoffs. We will see if we can continue the momentum next week at Texas!

We are 5 races into the season and after coming off what the team viewed as an early season saver at Atlanta here is how things are looking.

We currently rank 20th in the standings after Atlanta with 1 top 5 and two top 10 finishes to date, and while we are not qualifying great we are averaging just outside the top 20 and that includes two DNF's. So consistently will be our big driver moving forward.

Looking upwards and what we can expire to, this is the top 8 in standings after 5 races thusfar in the season.

We move on next week to Homestead where we get to tackle another fun Mile and a Half Circuit that we are optimistic about going into after the race this weekend at Altanta.

Onwards and Upwards!

It's early in the season and it seems unthinkable to say a race is a must for a good finish to save the season right? Well, that's exactly how we felt coming in to Atlanta for the "Folds of Honor" 250. With 2 early season DNF's at Phoenix and Las Vegas during the early season west coast swing we felt like another poor finish would bury us and take months to dig out of.

Pleased to report the team managed excellent pit strategy to pull off a top 10 in Atlanta. We didn't have a top 10 car on speed, but we did manage to get a bit better life out of the tires than some teams and the cautions fell in our favor. So, we leave with a top 10 and some new life after this race early on in the season.

We come off a top 15 finish from Fontana on the West Coast Swing and take the momentum (not) into Phoenix. Unfortunately we get sent pretty quickly back to the drawing board at this short track, the first of the season as we DNF pretty early.

Driver, David Anderson was quoted with "Just didnt feel right from the moment we unloaded from the hauler. I can't say it was all in the car, I was just struggling with the package and the track and didn't feel confident"

The team spent more time this race unloading and loading the car from the hauler than they did on the track. So we need to flush this one and head on out of the West Coast for now and to Atlanta to try to rebound.

However, this will be a critical track to focus on rebounding as we will be back here later in the season and it could be for high stakes in the playoffs should we play our cards right.

We have also shared a few pictures of the rig being used for the Dynasty! Enjoy!

The west coast swing for the 2020 NASCAR season continues and I manage a 15th place finish to recover from the DNF a week before at Las Vegas. A good battle with Corey Lajoie and John Hunter Nemecheck in this one. Fontana is a track that it's important to manage tires and pit strategy even more than you normally would. I was able to do both and it paid off. While we were not the fastest car we were consistent and had a solid run.

This helps with the sting of the DNF the week before and helps us to hopefully not fall too far back early on in the season. We will have Phoenix next week a track we definitely need some work on.

We go from a top 5 at Daytona to start the season with Spire Motorsports and the David Anderson #78 Entry to an unfortunate end at Las Vegas with a DNF. Wish we could say it was due to something out of our control, but in this case it was simply driver error. David while racing hard with Jimmie Johnson for a few laps, gets high off turn 4 and into the wall , with a hard bounce off and an impending accident with oncoming traffic leads to a DNF.

Ok, it's been a while since I did anything with my Dynasty, so better late than never. Playing some NASCAR Heat 5 on XBOX Series X with a Logitech G920 wheel and pedals. I am an experienced simracer so I am using hard and expert settings wherever possible with minimal to zero aids. All races are run at 50% their published distance so in my case it's the Daytona 250, but that's so that I can do them in one setting, with no pausing, etc.

Also I will take only one shot at each race, if I DNF I dont restart it. That's the way it will be.

I am chasing something, hopefully a spot in the chase with this longshot team! Only have to win one race to get there!

As for the driver, I am David Anderson all races are with me in the cockpit cam primarily.

I race the AI the way I would want to be raced and make it as an authentic of an experience as possible. I am actually quite pleased with NASCAR Heat on XBOX Series X with my wheel settings dialed in. I have all the core content plus DLC, so hopefully the most authentic experience the game can provide on the XBOX platform.

Planning to run and hopefully blog as many of the races as I can, within the 2020 season in game. I have signed on with Spire Motorsports to drive for them along with Ross Chastain as my teammate.

First race of course is the biggest one, the Daytona 500 where we very much overachieved with a 4th place finish.

Enjoy the Race and subscribe on youtube for the most current updates

The Titans have moved to above .500 for the first time this season as they pick up their 2nd win in a row on the road in Buffalo handing the winless Bills their 5th consecutive loss. The Titans were inconsistent in the receiving game, still missing their top two WR Rishard Matthews and Corey Davis. However, they had timely receptions and big step ups from both Delaine Walker and Tajae Sharpe in key situations to handily take care of the Bills.

Walker would snag two TD grabs on long drives executed by Mariota and the Offense. Sharpe would have 99 total yards in the game with a great performance when called upon. The key to the game however was the continued fantastic play of Derrick Henry as he would rush for another 150 yards and continue to pad his league leading rushing in the NFL through 5 games.

With the game still fairly close late in the 3rd Quarter the Titans got a huge Fumble Recovery for a Touchdown from Wesley Woodyard which countered a similar play earlier in the game from the Bills. This pretty much would seal it and the Titans would go on to a 30-10 victory. They will look to keep things moving next week as they return home in what is sure to be a tough contest against the Baltimore Ravens, always a big game for Titans fans.

The Titans will need a more consistent passing game if they expect to beat Flacco and the Ravens.

The Titans find themselves sitting at 2-2 after the first Quarter of the season, so let's take a quick look at team leaders in Offensive and Defensive Categories through those first four games. Some highlights of the season include:

-Marcus Mariota taking all snaps thusfar behind center, and helping guide team for 2 wins.
-Derrick Henry leading the NFL in rushing through first 4 games of season and the early season MVP.
-Delanie Walker and the RB and WR Backups holding their own while Matthews and Davis are injured
-Rookie Rashaan Evans leading the team in tackles
-Kevin Byard an AFC player of the week in week 4 and leading an agressive defense
-Ryan Succop connecting on a 59 YD FG and a total of 4 FG against Philly in week 4

The Titans got a much needed win at home in an unexpected way over the reigning Super Bowl Champion Eagles this week in Nashville. The win was critical to keep the Titans in good early season position at a record of 2-2. After a road win to open the year in Miami, the team would drop two straight against division rivals Houston and Jacksonville. Returning home and taking care of business against the Eagles was a nice lift to finish out the first quarter of the season.

The defense forced an early turnover on Carson Wentz, which actually would knock him out of the game as well with a dislocated ankle unfortunately. Mariota would capitalize with a quick strike TD pass to Tajae Sharpe. This was a great sign as Sharpe has been asked to step up in the wake of Corey Davis and Rishard Matthews both currently sidelined with injury.

Ryan Succop added a season high four Field Goals and Kevin Byard sealed the win in the 2nd half with a Pick Six for a Touchdown. Byard was actually the star of the game with 2 INT and 5 tackles and a TD backing up his Pro Bowl season from a year ago.

In addition to these performances the Defense forced a total of 5 Turnovers as Nick Foles really struggled in relief duty of Wentz and the Eagles were knocked out of their gameplan. Derrick Henry grinded out another 100 yard performance on the ground to continue his league leading rushing attack to start the season. Dion Lewis also added a nice change of pace especially out of the backfield

The Titans got off to a promising start in Week 3 against the Jags on the Road, however, things would flame out in the later part of the 3rd Quarter in route to their 2nd loss in a row, and a tough start to Divisional play for the 2018 season. The Titans now find themselves in an early backs against the wall situation within the AFC South as they have dropped consecutive early season games to the Texans and Jaguars.

Things got off to a quick and promising start for the Titans when they found themselves up early on the Heels of a nice Derrick Henry TD Run.

Titans RB Derrick Henry Scores Long TD Run Early but it's not enough

The Titans built upon their lead with a Pick 6 from Kenny Vaccaro, who had made big INT's now in 2 of the first three games and really been a key player on Defense.

However, the Jaguars put a lot of pressure on Marcus Mariota throughout the contest leading to 4 Interceptions from Mariota, 2 of which found themselves in the hands of Jalen Ramsey, one of the hottest young players in the NFL. Mariota was also on the ground more than we would like to admit with the pressure from the Jags pass rush. Not all of the blame can be placed on Mariota however, as the Titans were operating with a much depleted WR corps. Having lost both Corey Davis and Rishard Matthews to injury it was a tough situation to overcome.

On a positive note Delanie Walker, overcame double coverage throughout the game to lead all Titans receivers with 6 Grabs. Derrick Henry also built upon his NFL rushing lead with another strong performance of 99 yards on 18 carries.

Perhaps the biggest highlight for the Titans came from special teams as Ryan Succop connected on a 59 year Field goal, a very impressive kick that briefly gave the Titans the lead into the 3rd Quarter.

Next week the Titans return home to face Super Bowl Champion Eagles who will be the ender to the first Quarter of the season. An important game for the Titans to avoid a 1-3 start which would really put them in trouble.

The Titans got confirmation of some bad news to the Wide Receiver corps coming off the tough loss at home to the Texans in week 2. In the Monday press conference it was confirmed that the team will be without both Rishard Matthews and Corey Davis for at least the next few weeks. Both players were injured early in the contest against the Texans and did not return. Matthews is suffering from an abdominal tear and will miss less action than Davis who received an upper arm fracture and will be out 5-6 weeks.

The next man up mentality is in the spotlight as the Titans will now turn to young players Taywan Taylor and Tajae Sharp to take over the top 2 receiving spots in the absence of Matthews and Davis. It was announced the team has also reached terms with Free Agent WR Justin Hardy as well a 3 year pro that will join the team this week in preparations for Jacksonville.

The expectation is that without the service of Matthews and Davis for the next few weeks that TE Delanie Walker will draw extra attention in upcoming games from opposing Defenses.

On the optimism front neither player will be placed on IR and both are expected to rejoin the team in the next 4-6 weeks.

After a solid week 1, the Tennessee Titans had a let down in week 2 as Deshaun Watson and the Texans come to Nashville and frustrate the Titans. Watson was erratic early and would have 3 interceptions in the contest. However in the 2nd half after adjustments, he was able to continually find the soft spots in the Titans Defense with both the pass and run and would throw for 299 yards total and 3 Touchdowns.

The Texans ran the ball well with a group effort and were able to Intercept Marcus Mariota twice and keep the pressure high on the Titans with 6 sacks.

The Titans had several opportunities to turn the tide and momentum, but despite solid drives on two ocassions, missed Field Goals from Ryan Succop would add insult to injury. A day to forget as the good guys drop this one to the visiting Texans in an important early season divisional battle.

Tennessee will look to bounce back next week with a tough assignment of traveling to Jacksonville to open the season against the Jags in the first of two important divisional contests.
