Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 is the latest edition of lacrosse from studio Crosse Games, which was founded to actually produce games for the sport.
There have been numerous iterations in the series, a crowdfunding attempt and most importantly a couple of legit releases. This newest edition borrows a lot from other sports games, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
For those who are willing to give Lacrosse 16 a try, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised.

Last time we proved that defense alone isn’t enough to win a championship in NBA 2K14, but many of you asked if a team full of shooters would do the trick.
It’s time to find out!
I simulated one 82-game season with some of the game’s best shooters on the same team without any concerns from a defensive standpoint. Now, of course there’s going to be a big advantage if I have Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love all on the same squad, so I had to put in limitations. When I was looking at defense, no player on the roster could be above a 79 overall. This was done for the same reasons above. Since offense is weighed more heavily in 2K’s rating system—as in the better at shooting you are, the higher you’re rated, where that’s not necessarily the case with defense—I made sure that nobody was above an 82 overall.

The NFL offseason is officially underway and this one in particular seems like it might just have a few tricks up its sleeve for NFL fans.
Especially when it comes to Madden.
We’ll get the normal NFL draft, mini camps and training camps, with the usual roster shuffling and rookie additions for us all to drool over.
There happens to be some other NFL-related issues that could have a direct impact on Madden’s product and what consumers see come August, though — assuming that is when the new version releases.
Here’s what Madden fans should be looking out for as the NFL offseason takes place.

RGIII is dangerous running the ball, but only because he is a rare talent.
One of the Madden franchises' most glaring issues in past versions of the game has been with its offensive and defensive line interaction.
The gamer never got a realistic representation of an incredibly important part of football in the line play. We ended up seeing the same two or three animations that didn’t portray any kind of realism.
Madden 25 on next generation systems is touting a new “War in the Trenches” feature which promises to not only give overhauled offensive/defensive line play, but more importantly, it promises to change the way we play the game.

Losing NCAA Football hurts, but that loss can be mitigated by an excellent Madden.
There is no need to start this off with a lie.
The end of the NCAA Football franchise hurts.
People continually blasted the game with criticism after criticism, but negatives tend to speak louder than positives, especially in our genre. Most people weren’t fooled though: we were playing a pretty good college football game every year.
Instead of having the ability to transition into the next generation of consoles, NCAA Football has to hang up the cleats. At this point, there is some serious concern as to if there will ever be another college football game on the market again.
