One of the biggest problems I hear about MLB 15 The Show is the unfortunate consistency of striking out. This is an issue that has plagued me at times, as well. However, I have learned a few ways to reduce your strikeout rate that could benefit you, too.

This year there is a new hitting mechanic in MLB 15 The Show called Directional Hitting. The idea behind this system is rather simple. It's basically timing hitting with the ability to influence the directions of your hits by pushing the left stick in a certain direction.

A casual glance through the WWE 2K15 roster leaves you thinking there are some obvious additions just begging to be added to the roster. Great potential rivalries are there for the taking, and some truly legendary superstars are just outside of the reach of WWE fans in the current videogame roster. Here are some of the more notable omissions which still exist:
1.) Bret “Hitman” Hart - It would be great to relive the rivalry between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Not to mention Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
2.) The Road Warriors aka The Legion of Doom - How could arguably the greatest tag team ever not be included in the game. You gotta have some great tag team rivalries.
3.) Zack Ryder - Okay, I know people aren’t clamoring to play as Ryder, but one thing that should be included in the game is the entire current roster. So this spot can also be used to mention anyone else on the current roster that was left out.
4.) Demolition - The walking disasters themselves. Imagine the battles you can have with The Road Warriors, or The Ascension when they arrive through DLC. The Ascension claim to be better than all of them, so now you can find out.
5.)Razor Ramon - “The bad guy” Razor Ramon certainly holds a special place in many fans hearts. And to be able relive his rivalries with other superstars such as Shawn Michaels or Goldust would be a blast for sure.
6.) Finn Balor - He may not be a household name yet, but if you are fan of NXT then you know who Fin Balor is. Could you just imagine one of his awe inspiring entrances and makeup jobs in this game?
7.)Kevin Owens - Once again, not a household name, but he has already become one of the biggest names in NXT. Being able to feud with Sami Zayn would surely be a blast.
8.) Hideo Itami - You can’t leave out one of the most renowned international superstars over the last 5 years or so. Now a part of NXT, Itami would be nothing but a delight for for fans of the game to play with.
9.) Rowdy Roddy Piper - The hot Scot would certainly be a nice addition to the rosters to relive some classic battles with, such as Hogan, Goldust, and even the Ultimate Warrior.
10.) The Macho Man Randy Savage - Now that he’s finally being inducted into the hall of fame, The Macho Man deserves his rightful place among the others in WWE 2K15. You could relive such great battles as Hogan vs Macho man, or create new ones with current stars. You could even team him up with Hogan to form the Mega Powers one last time.
So tell us who else you think should be DLC in WWE 2K15, leave a comment below and discuss!

Even though the weather is just now starting to heat up, It’s never too early to start thinking about the newly 2K christened WWE videogame. This year's edition seems to offer more promise now that the authenticity driven Visual Concepts - the in-house development team at 2K Sports - is taking direct involvement in the production of the game this year. Yukes will still be involved, but the fact that Visual Concepts is now on board puts a smile on a lot of faces. What exactly will this mean for the franchise? Only time will tell, but if Visual Concepts treats “WWE 2K15” like their other sports titles, I think fans of the series might be in for a treat.

While the guessing game is now on as to whether this is the final Major League Baseball 2K game, gamers who aren't caught up in that talk but rather looking at the game they have just been handed might find something worth playing.
While it's not perfect, MLB 2K12 makes a valiant effort in what could be the series swan song, but is it worth the price of admission?

New this year in My Player is Player Roles. The roles are Slugger, All-around, Speedster, Utility, Ground Ball Pitcher and Closer. Whatever role you chose directly affects your starting attributes. From there, just like previous versions, you must earn your attribute points by doing what is asked of you on the field. This could be something like “get a base hit” or “put the ball in play.” You can also earn points by successfully fielding balls, stealing bases and scoring runs.
One of my biggest complaints with the mode is the fact that when I am running the bases and a ball is put into play I can barely see where its going. I have a hard time knowing if I should be legging out to the next base or if I should be waiting to see if the ball drops in. 2K definitely needs to think about working on the camera if there is a MLB 2K13 (which is looking unlikely).
Overall the mode is fun. It should keep you entertained during your quest for the majors.

A lot of gamers wondered if 2K would be phoning in their effort this year. After playing a number of games, I see a lot of improvements but also a lot of issues. This game seems to be very polarizing. Some animations are improved, and some look terrible. For instance, outfielders sometimes have strange hitches as they catch the ball; they also still crow hop when the situation doesn’t call for it. Base running seems better, but the runners run with their heads up. I also threw a wild pitch and the CPU just stood on first as the ball went all the way to the backstop. These are the little details that 2K tends to miss.
The biggest sin in this game is the frame rate. In 2012, a game should not have severe frame rate issues. It seems like on every foul ball the frame rate takes a hit. Sometimes its so bad the game literally pauses for a second. This is something 2K needs to address via patch now.

Every year it’s the same story. 2K always seems late to the party.
While there has been some info released, one can’t help but wonder if 2K is holding something back.
