NBA 2K16 will be the third basketball title released by 2K Sports on this generation of consoles. The developers will be looking to improve and stabilize this series, and there is no doubt that the hype for NBA 2K16 is very high. With news continuing to release about new modes, improved gameplay, and enhanced visuals, 2K is continuing to boost the hype as we move towards a late-September release. That being said, let's take a look at what I think are the five keys that will ensure NBA 2K16 is a success this season.

One thing unique to baseball is its stadiums. Unlike other sports, field dimensions are not completely regulated. This gives baseball franchises the freedom to make walls as tall as they want, outfields as deep as they want, and foul territories as big as they want. Because of this freedom, baseball stadiums can turn out to be some of the most beautiful and unique facilities in the world. Of course, these wonders of the sports world are rendered quite well in MLB 15 The Show, but there are six that truly stand out.

With the NBA Draft Lottery behind us, it is time to let the mock drafts begin. This time of year is the favorite for NBA analysts and scouts, as they get to give their two cents on who should go where when draft day rolls around. The Phillies are not exactly setting the league on fire so far in the early 2015 season. They are a struggling team, and it is quite clear to everyone that they need to rebuild. For the past few years, the motto for MLB The Show has been "baseball is better." This year, the Sony team has certainly made baseball gaming even better than it was last year; not just for new-gen users, but for PS3 users as well. With all the focus being on the PS4 edition, the PS3 has been largely overlooked. However, that does not mean it has been ignored by SCEA.

It's Champion Week. Selection Sunday is almost here.
College basketball fans everywhere are about to begin experiencing the phenomenon that is March Madness once again.
For sports gamers, this time of year used to be prime-time for the latest NCAA Basketball or College Hoops title. Unfortunately, a college basketball game has not existed since NCAA Basketball 10. Sure, you can play NBA 2K15 until your thumbs fall off, but the NBA game just is not the same as NCAA hoops. The modding community has released several impressive mods for 2K in recent years that add in college teams, jerseys, courts, players, etc., but there just is not a way to capture true college basketball in an NBA game.
The lack of a college basketball game is disappointing to say the least. We have already seen what is possible on the new consoles, and having a college basketball title on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One is likely something that would have college basketball fans chomping at the bit to play.
Since there currently is no hope for a college basketball game any time in the near future, I can’t help but think what could have been with College Hoops 2k15.
