What an amazing, but somewhat unrealistic, game. #7 Oregon Ducks were on the road against the #14 Oklahoma Sooners. The first half was pretty normal. 10-0 Oregon by the end of the second quarter. But the third quarter is when it all started. Oklahoma decided to wake up like a sleeping dragon and whipped out three touchdowns, while shutting out the Ducks.
Fourth quarter begins. Fourth down, Oregon ball. Oklahoma's defense held off for one more down, and the ball was turned over. Then they drive the ball down the field, but only come out with a field goal. Though, now its 24-10 OU. Oregon then comes up with a touchdown and makes OU punt. 17-24 OU, 48 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Oregon QB Bennett nails a 68 yard pass for a touchdown.
The game is now tied at 24 with about 40 seconds left. Oregon kicks the ball off to OU wide receiver T. Franks, and he takes it to the house. 24-31 Oklahoma, and almost all hope for Oregon was lost within seconds. OU kicks off and it's Oregon ball. 3rd and 10, 0:12 left in the game. QB Bennett throws a 75 yard BOMB to WR Williams for a touchdown! Once again, the game is tied.
Overtime begins, and OU decides to play defense first. Oregon keeps the ball on the ground and powers it in for a touchdown. 38-31 Oregon, and it's OU's turn. Oklahoma QB Allen is sacked on the first down. The next three passes are swatted down like flies, and the game ends. Oregon comes back from a 14 point deficit in the fourth quarter and wins the game on the road.

Conference opener. Texas definitely has the offensive advantage on paper, and they had a great game against NMSU with a 45-10 win. Oregon plans to counter the Longhorn's hot offense with their own hot defense.
It was the season opener for both #6 Oregon and Michigan. There was no score by the end of the first quarter, but Oregon broke the tie with a 2 Yd run by DeAnthony Thomas. Starting the fourth quarter, the score was 21-0. Michigan almost made a fourth quarter comeback, scoring 14 points. Oregon's defense held off for the final minutes, and start their season on a good note.

Unranked LSU signed four 5* wide receivers and six other 4* players. LSU will definitely have a pass-based offense for the next few years. New Mexico State, ranked #101 in recruiting, scored a 5* WR. His stats are:

This season has been a great one, but like every season, it has come to a close. At the start of the season, I had a 2-2 record and was not performing up to par. But then our team pulled ourselves together and became the #1 rush defense in the country, PAC-12 Champions, and Rose Bowl Winners. Three Ducks players were named NCAA All-Americans:
Defensive Tackle, Ricky Heimuli: 51 total tackles, 34 solo tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble.
Left End, Tony Washington: 51 total tackles, 32 solo tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks
Kick Returner, Kenjon Barner: 34 attempts, 860 yards, 25.2 average yards, 2 touchdowns, 97 long
Played #11 Nevada (11-1) in the Rose Bowl (#8 Oregon (9-4)). Wasn't a very significant game. I ended up winning 27-7 with two picks and a handful of sacks. I'm thinking of making some adjustments to my bowl tie-ins and maybe bump the difficulty level up. I'm also going to realign the conferences to the current official conferences and see how the next season goes.
Anyways, here's how some of the other games went this week:
BCS Championship
South Florida Bulls at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Yes! I finally got my revenge on UCLA. The Bruin's quarterback Brehaut was having a horrible day, and my defense just had a picnic (oh how I love puns). Brehaut threw a total of 4 picks! And the very first one in the opening drive was a pick-six! What an exciting game. It wasn't a blow out either, until the fourth quarter. The score was 10-13 UCLA entering the fourth, but two INTs lead to a Ducks victory
Now, onto playing #11 Nevada for the Rose Bowl

Pick-6 in the opening drive.
Second pick of the first quarter, right next to the endzone.
First INT of the 4th quarter. Leads to a much needed touchdown.
Giving the final pick the most heartless death-stare of the century
It is now Conference Championship Week, and an old enemy is back again. Last season I had lost one game before the conference finals, and that was in Week 1 against LSU. Going into the conference finals, I was confident I would crush UCLA. Boy was I wrong. Oregon, a projected national finalist, was beaten by the underdogs UCLA. It has now been a full season since then, and here we are again. Oregon vs UCLA in a rematch for the PAC-12 Championship. Only this time, we’re in UCLA.

Game Notes
Rematch from last year's PAC-12 Conference Championship game.
Oregon holds their undefeated home record and has won both Civil Wars in my dynasty. It was a great game and a joy to play. The Beaver's star running back Jordan Jenkins had a great first half, but was shut down completely in the second half. On almost every running attempt the Ducks defense stopped the Beavers short, if not in the backfield. Without Jenkins performing well, Oregon State had lost a lot of momentum.

Jordan Jenkins was a tackle breaking machine in the first half.
After playing a little bit of smashmouth offense, the Beavers decided to throw, but was picked off.
Jordan Jenkins was stopped at the line on almost every attempt in the second half
Here we go again! 2012 Civil War is underway. #11 Oregon is defending their undefeated home record, while #19 Oregon State wants revenge for last year's loss. The Beaver's starting running back has 13 touchdowns this season, but will have to face the #1 rush defense in the country. Should be a great game to play
