Hey man - I know this is an old message but for some reason I never got a notification of it. I just figure out how many seniors I have and go from there. If new slots open during the off-season, I fill those either with the new available recruits or scout hard for the remaining 2 or 3 star talent. If for some odd reason I over-recruit, I drop guys from the last week of recruiting, which I don't think I have ever had to do.

What I do is I just take a look at the number of seniors I have, and only recruit up to that number. Once I reach that number, I stop.

Amazingly, I was able to keep a full 70-man roster for 9 seasons doing it this way without having to cut anyone.

These past couple of seasons though (years 10 and 11), I have come up 4 to 5 players short, mainly due to juniors leaving early and me put in a spot of having to replace them in the off-season recruiting, unsuccessfully.

If I ever accidentally "over-recruit," I can cut from the last group of players signed.
