By no means do I think this trip will make or break the Hawks season, but it could be a fairly sizeable dent in it. There are also whispers that if the Hawks come out of this trip unfavorably that Coach Q could be on his way out. Here's the trip.... (records are as of 11/4/12)

BREAKING NEWS
In a move that sources closest to the team are not surprised by the Hawks have decided to part ways with Milan Lucic.
Here's Stan Bowman -
"Lucic is everything we wanted in a LW, however, thru the draft and recent developments, we seem to have solid depth at that position, couple that with the lack of production from Lucic, and those around him, we felt it was the right time to pull the trigger." "I wish it would have working out better, but ultimately we feel that we got better as a team today on the ice, and financially as we would have had to sign Lucic next year, and I'm sure he would have been looking for a pay increase, that may or may not have been beyond his actual performance."
Acquire
LW - Milan Lucic
Acquire
RW - Kyle Okposo
Analysis: Financially speaking this makes a world of sense, the Hawks would have had to sign Lucic, who is already making north of $4,000,000. Okposo is signed for the next three years, and is making just under $4,000,000. Not to mention the Hawks will have to re-sign Nick Leddy, who will be looking for his first professional contract after his entry level deal, and that won't be cheap.
Now What?
The Hawks plan to move Marian Hossa to the top line to create a "super" line so to speak with Toews and Kane. Obviously the goal here is to get Hossa going, because if he isn't then the Hawks will have trouble going anywhere.

Four straight losses have cast a shadow over the once promising 3-0 start to the season. One of the main issues has been the lack of production from the second line, and all around poor play from Milan Lucic.
Changes going into the Montreal game...
Lucic moves from second line to the third line (just for this game, we'll see how it goes)
Beach bumped from the third line to the top line, he deserves to be rewarded as he leads the team in goals (4). Beach will also skate on the second PP unit which has also struggled.
Salak in the net tonight.
If things don't change soon, changes are going to be made, big changes.
