QB Peyton Manning- please try to disagree with me. I dare you.
HB Adrian Peterson
FB Lousaka Polite
WR Andre Johnson
TE Tony Gonzalez
LT Ryan Clady
LG Steve Hutchinson
C Nick Mangold
RG Chris Snee
RT Jamaal Brown
3-4 DE Haloti Ngata
3-4 DT Jay Ratliff
3-4 OLB DeMarcus Ware
3-4 MLB Ray Lewis (screw Willis)
4-3 DE Mario Williams
4-3 DT Kevin Williams
4-3 OLB Lance Briggs
4-3 MLB Curtis Lofton
CB Champ Bailey
FS Antoine Bethea
SS Troy Polamalu
K Robbie Gould
P Matt Scrifes
I honestly think that this team would be the ultimate team (specifically the defense). If you disagree, please speak now.
UPDATE: LHSLax_D24 brought it to my attention that Redskins OT Jamaal Brown is indeed, the best RT in the NFL (and not Jon Stinchcomb). I didn't realize that he wasn't playing LT anymore.
UPDATE: It has come to my attention that I did not list any nose tackles!!!!
How embarrassing
UPDATE: Wow guys, LHSLax_D24 is on a roll! I've now been told twice by this dude! Jon Beason (sadly) cannot be the best 4-3 MLB because we freakin' moved him back to OLB (why...who knows). Props to Lax for finding all these flaws in my list. So now, I have updated my list and suggested a new best 4-3 MLB.

-QB: No argument
-HB: Toss up between AD and CJ2K, but I'd also give it to Peterson
-FB: Best true FB is Polite
-WR: There are so many (Johnson, Moss, Fitzgerald) that I wouldn't mind any of them
-TE: He's getting old, but still elite.
-LT: Ryan Clady is not the best LT. He looked good because Cutler always avoided his sacks. With Orton back there, Clady allowed 8 sacks in 09. Best LT is Joe Thomas
-LG: Don't know too much about lineman
-C: Don't know too much about lineman
-RG: Don't know too much about lineman
-RT: When healty, it's Jammal Brown
3-4 DE: Ngata
3-4 OLB: Maybe a little bias against the Cowboys, but I think James Harrison is the best. Rookie Trent Williams shut down Ware
3-4 MLB: Lewis
4-3 DE: Julius Peppers, when he actually tries, he's unstoppable
4-3 OLB: Briggs benefits from a good D, so IDK
4-3 MLB: London Fletcher (I know he's in a 3-4 now), but otherwise he's a beast
CB: Bailey or Asomugha
FS: Ed Reed
SS: Polamalu, even though Landry has played like a beast.
K: So many good ones, IDK
P: Same as above

I'm glad to see that you agree with me...for the most part. Just a few things I'd like to touch on.
Jamaal played LT on the Saints. I totally forgot that Washington play him at RT. And not to be a butt or anything like that but...you said it yourself. London Fletcher is a 3-4 MLB now. Meaning he is no longer a 4-3 MLB. So your argument there is kind of invalid. Would over really take him over Beason anyways?

IDK if I'd take Fletcher over Beason (age), but if they were the same age Fletcher; and Beason actually moved to OLB, so technically your case is invalid, haha. So best MLB is Lofa Tatupu. I have him over Urlacher, DeMeco Ryans, and Gary Brackett.

Excellent site, keep up the good work. I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks

Sorry man, but when you can't put up the numbers that you used to be able to, you have lost a step. Randy is NOT the same dominant receiver he was in Minnesota. Don't be fooled. He's not as fast (huge acceleration drop) and his ability as a possession receiver is diminishing.
Really when I said Randy has lost a beat, I meant athleticism. He's still pretty much the most skilled WR in the NFL (when it comes to hands, adjusting to the ball, route running, etc.)

The best FB should be Ovie Mughelli because of his strength and intense run blocking. I'm actually tempted to say that Rashard Mendenhall will emerge as a better RB than AP this year because AP fumbles too much. Michael Turner is pretty good too , his stats are lower than they should be because of his groin injury.

Tony Gonzalez's reign on top was shorter than a leprechaun. The best TE in the game is no other than AG, Double AG, Triple AG, Antonio Gates. And that's been about 5 years running. Gates made Drew Brees. Gates made Vincent Jackson. Gates made Phillip Rivers. Gates made LT. Defensive game plans revolve around stopping him and they can't do it unless they commit three people to track him. Gonzalez hs been a great player for a long time, but Tito hsn't been significant in a long time. He is living off reputation nowadays.

Ray Lewis...really.....have you ever seen Patrick Willis play a game of football??!?! Ray Lewis is a damn good player, gets a little more pub/overrated cause he is so outspoken, but if you made this team in 2002, yea Lewis is your man. But please go watch Patrick Willis play a game of football. He is unmistakeably the best MLB in the game.

Antonio Gates is probably the best TE ever period.Look at his footwork, the moves he makes after catching the ball.this guy is incredible even with three guys on him.damn,he even busted Hakeem Olajuwon up.

TE: Gates.... DE: Peppers.... MLB: Willis.... CB: Revis
and just one thing if some look at Tony Gonzalez track record then look you also have to look at putting LT on your list too.
@supermanemblem lol at you saying Gates made LT

ummmm....no. Randy Moss is top 5 in my books, but we're talking about Andre Johnson here. He's lead the league in receiving for back-to-back years now and is the feature player in an elite offense. And don't try to act like it's not true when I say that the almighty Randy Moss is finally losing his groove.
