When the 2009-2010 NBA season began, the Washington Wizards were expected to compete in the Eastern Conference and possibly an NBA Championship. With newly acquired G Randy Foye and G/F Mike Miller, a healthy "Big 3", and new head coach Flip Saunders; many experts predicted a 50+ win season for Washington. Today, the Portland Trail Blazers acquire C Marcus Camby from the Los Angeles Clippers for F Travis Outlaw, G Steve Blake, and $3 million in cash, ESPN. The major reason that Los Angeles accepted this proposal is due to the money Portland was willing to give them.With the Trail Blazers ailing with front court injuries (C Greg Oden and C Joel Przybilla, both out for the remainder of the season), they go and get another big man to help them compete in the Western Conference.
