The Washington Redskins have waived WR Devin Thomas.
Thomas, a former second-rounder in 2008, was unimpressive as a pro. Posting only 40 career receptions, he was considered to be very inconsistent.

The Washington Redskins have signed HB Quinn Porter to their Practice Squad.
Porter, an undrafted free agent out of Stillman College, played with the Packers in the preseason. They sign him, which, just so happens to be the week they play Green Bay.
When HB Javarris James sign with the Colts a day after the 'Skins added him to their PS, he left a void. Porter presumably is taking his spot.
