It's a Party...on the go!
Party Planet continues a long tradition of party type games releasing for consoles early in their lifespan. Developers see this as a quick way to get a game into the hands of consumers as they are clamoring for new games so releasing a package of mini-games hopes to grab the non-hardcore gamer and sell some copies. So how does Party Planet ... Read More

I had high hopes for Chess Ultra on the Switch, I enjoyed Pure Chess on the PS4 so having chess on the go was a big plus. Unfortunately, I was almost immediately let down with this title. I didn't care for the menu system at all, over to the right was a non-descript "Chess Ultra" tab which just goes to a currently non-existent DLC page. Playing a game was okay, ... Read More

One month from today, I'll be undertaking a 24 hour gaming journey to support Children Miracle Network Hospitals, or in this case, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, OH. I've worked since the first of the year to get to this point and the gaming is the reward for the hard work. Signing up people to play, talking about Extra Life and the benefits every chance I get and raising money anyway I could in order to help sick kids in the hospital.

Madden 16 came out on Tuesday and I've played a decent amount of it so far. It goes without saying this is one of the most polarizing game releases every year, so many fans on both sides of the argument. I get Madden every year, and lately it's been a let down ever year, how would this year fair?
So far, I love it on the field, some of the best it's ever been sans the AI jumping offsides glitch that's being fixed in the first patch according the EA development team. BUT, franchise ... Read More

It's been awhile since I got into a good pool game, always loved to play a video game version of pool, but seems so many are just not that good. Bankshot Billiards for the Xbox 360 was really the last one I dove into and played a lot, it released in 2005. So upon hearing VooFoo Studios was bringing out Pure Pool I got pretty excited to see what they had in store.
First off, the game looks incredible, it's not like a lot has to go into ... Read More

Zen Studios has become the new master of pinball games, creating a fantasy world in their pinball games but retaining the true to the feel of pinball machine in your home. It’s a difficult task to have the property feel authentic all the while also feel like a pinball machine. This has impressed me over and over again with each subsequent Zen Pinball release. ... I can't be the only one sick of seeing what unfolded above from Fox News right? Every time there's a shooting in this country, video games are almost always the first to be blamed. Even way back when Columbine happened, the media blamed Marilyn Manson and Doom. Now they want to say video games caused him to be a monster? Really!? And this Elizabeth Hasselbeck wants ... Maybe I'm just expecting too much from gaming anymore, or Madden 25 is just that disappointing of a game, but I came away very unsatisfied. Within playing one half of football I saw many issues that I was shocked made it through QA testing and into consumer's hands. Then there are things that are head scratchers, small details that NCAA gets right, but Madden doesn't. The fact that both games

Disney Infinity launched just last week bringing the new game into the fold that uses toys in order to play the game. Will it be a better game than Skylanders? What the cost difference be and how broke parents will be this holiday season, let's take a look.

I'm on a mission to save kids through video games, and I need your help.
My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few
On Nov 2nd, 2013 I'll attempt to play an epic 24 (25) hour video game marathon over Xbox Live (or hopefully Playstation 4) and it's my sincere hope that you'll find it ... Read More

On May 22nd and 23rd, I'll be flying to 2K Sports to see an early build of WWE 2K14. I'll have an opportunity to try out many of the modes, ask questions and get a general feel of what we should be expecting as the WWE series moves on to 2K Sports from THQ.
This is where you come in, I'll be there early enough where your voice could actually be heard by the WWE Games team, and questions/concerns/ideas/suggestions

Let me preface this by saying I don't read dirt sheets. I actually hate them, I like to be surprised. I don't get the whole spoil

Last night was WrestleMania 29, but if you didn't know that and just watched the event, would you have actually realized it was WrestleMania? WrestleMania is the Super Bowl of the WWE, their big, yearly event that showcases the top stars in the industry. It's filled with celebs, glamour, and over the top moments that are remembered for a lifetime, but somewhere along the way to this WrestleMania, that was
