i think it will be a good game. if you love offline franchise it will be awesome. there will be bugs as it is the history with EA. i don't see that changing. but i do see them patching a few. But i suspect it will be a great game!

I am loving it. I have been playing My Pro using Mark Ingram. Think of the RTG mode but with pros.

I have read people who find flaws but in my opinion this is the best Madden in years. I also read that some think that the improvements are subtle. To me, the visuals and presentation have taken a huge leap. The commentary is decent but nothing to drool over. However, I am not one that puts that much stock into commentary anyway because at some point it gets repetitive.

The new tackling system is outstanding and makes a huge difference. You will see guys break tackles, fight for extra yards and the chop blocks look sweet.

I also know that the stadium intros will get repetitive as well but at least there are different camera angles to show them off. What I find funny is the things I have read that people dislike (repetitive commentary, repetitive intros, etc) will be found in every sports game. I applaud EA for trying to do something different and adding atmosphere to the game. Oh, and the crowd sounds incredible.

I haven't seen any bugs / glitches that I would consider a game killer.

I know everyone will have an opinion but mine is that this is the most fun I have had playing Madden in a long time. The game has little things that impact the overall feel such as:

1) The pre-play animations of the players. This was one area where 2K shined and Madden 12 does really well, especially the QB's settling under center.

2) The crowd sounds incredible and gets louder when a play breaks open.

3) The playing field looks awesome from a distance unlike NCAA 12.

4) The blocking and tackling is a huge contributor

5) Game does offer different camera angles...

6) Players are fully editable...Want to change sock length? You can

7) Player models are the best in the series...

All in all, I am glad I got to get my hands on the game early. It is much better than the demo...

Oh, I forgot to mention the AI is improved a ton. The game feels like a challenge without feeling like you are being cheated....

I agree with Eski33 I had the game since thursday and I like it alot. It definately plays way better than previous years. I didnt keep madden for a month last year this 1 i'll keep until the next 1 comes out. I definately recommend the purchase it has it faults trust me and you have heard most of them but it definately is enjoyable

I've only played exhibition games since I wanna try out all the teams. This game is a lot of fun to play. Off subject. The Bucs are horrible in this game.

@Apoc. Hopefully the new roster update will fix some ratings. I may use TB. They have a good, young nucleus.

The more I play the game the more I get hooked. The graphics are just sick. Not to mention the collisions look great. The best is when a RB fights for yards. Always a chance to bust loose.

I feel ya man. The more I play the more I enjoy it. Been awhile since I actually say down and played exhibition games with teams other than my Skins. Did you see the review btw? OS gave it a 7.5. I personally would give it an 8.5.

My first wow moment /factor for madden on next gen...im loving this game so far. This is a first for me to say im enjoying madden...I finally made it past the first half without texting or losing interest for this game...im ready to get off work and get back to my franchise

Playing M12 with surround sound can get you fully immersed in the game..

I've read that Madden's audio is pretty bad (as always). I do have surround sounds so maybe that'll make it better..

Well the commentary is definitely no good and seems to have regressed. There's no reason why they should be using numbers instead of names. They say no. 16 instead of Brandon Banks. Come on now. He made enough kickoff and punt return plays last year that he should be recognizable.

Oh and I don't like the repetitiveness of the quote "he's definitely primed to perform". I'd rather have the booth announcer than these guys.

Who the hell is Brandon Banks? Anyway, I've actually held off picking Madden up this year...first time since the 90's, and I was in high school then with no JOB. I have been reading reviews and checking out everything I possibly can before I finally decide what to do.

I love the NCAA game and have played the hell out of it, but freezing issues finally caught up to me bad last week and has left a very sour taste in my mouth for EA video games. I guess I'm just waiting for the honeymoon to be over.
