However, reading about how deep franchise mode is this year; I get excited. I love the idea that you don't know your rookies ratings during the pre-season and that you unlock them as you play along. I like Dynamic Player Performance, consistency, the FA bidding system, and other roster logics. I get excited about things like this since I've always been the hardcore fan that enjoys the smallest things about sports games.
So my question to you guys is. Is Madden truly a good game to have and enjoy or is it so 'bugged out' that it takes the excitement away. Maybe it's what you make of it. Thinking of building a team might overcome those bugs/glitches. What do you guys think?

Yes, I wish I would've read about the draft class bug earlier =[. So far madden does seem to be a good game 3 games into my season and everything is cool. Just tweaking sliders here and there to make the experience better for myself.

The commentary is weak but I think the crowd sounds fantastic.
I agree. I would give this game a 9.0. The commentary is brutal but all other items are so subjective. My opinion is that video games will never emulate human response and emotion 100% and from the complaints I have read that is what people expect. Todays games are great but too many people's mindset is to disect the game to find flaws instead of just enjoying it. Madden especially and I think it is more due to a lack of competition than the game being bad.

This game has been very fun to me. I have liked the last few Madden game on the field play. I just couldn't enjoy it with the way Fanchise mode was. This year Fanchise mode is finally getting close to everything I want. Very good game this year. I have been shock at the reviews. How could the last few Maddens be rated higher than this one? I don't know what games they are playing.

I agree, I believe that this year Madden is really good. Especially for the hardcore gamers that truly get into their franchises. Although the game has its bugs/glitches. I believe that with the right sliders, Madden is really a good game to play.

I think reviewers are gun shy after NCAA 12 and have taken a very judgemental approach with Madden this year. I mean this game is way better than the last 3 releases imho so if reviewers are going to give it a 70 or 7.5 or 3.5 stars or whatever then those other 3 previous games should have been 55, 60, 70 or somewhere along those lines so players could actually see that Madden 12 is a step forward, especially for offline franchise players.
