AD Mode

Thoughts?

Controlling the budget? Recruiting, academic and training?

Make the total amount based on conference affiliation and bowl payouts?

Hiring a coaching staff? Or maybe just hiring a the head coach and then approving who the head coach hires?

Negotiationing apparel deals?

Interacting with boosters? NIL impact?

Still can play games and recruit like normal. Just control the other aspects.

Maybe create a coaching tree. Maybe other AD'S can retire and coaches can become new AD's?

Dynasty mode features with extra responsibility?

Re: AD Mode

I like it in theory but I'd rather see it get all of those core components correct from a coaching perspective before adding the AD component.

Re: AD Mode

There was a time, many years ago, where I thought I wanted this in the NCAA Football games, but really I have just realized that all I wanted was a robust coaching mode.

Give me a budget and force me to work inside of that to hire coaches, recruit, scout, etc.

A full on AD mode would need to be a game in itself, separate entirely from the EA College Football. It would essentially end up being a management sim. It's a management sim that I would be interested in playing, but most of the things that I think of as an AD Mode are things that I just want to have the ability to control/impact while also enjoying some college football gameplay.
